Geralt z Rivii And it’s all consoles fault for it too. If it wasn’t for their weak hardware, it’d probably stay longer. But they probably disappear due to performance issues on console, since the physics would make it run slower than it already does.

the reason they disappear is because if you are playing a ladder match and a table breaks in the middle of the ring you can’t place a ladder there, it will glitch out and either freak out and go flying or the player won’t be able to place it there

You should changed this title to tlc downgrades cause 90% of this video was about ladders and tables

Tbh only 5 and 8 are downgrades. Removing features =/ downgrades, they don't affect gameplay at all. (Except for the two i mentioned). In fact, making tables disappear is an upgrade, i remember those table bits getting stuck and being unable to place tables/ladders near them. Also, referees are always removing stuff from the ring so it makes sense.

OK the tables disappearing is an improvement. In 2k15 I always had problems with tables breaking in certain areas and then not being able to place ladders there and win the match so I had to restart.

It's a case of "making a game too realistic that it gets boring fast".... *games are played to escape reality* or *do things that aren't possibly in reality* or *thing's you wouldn't typically see* ,so if they were able to make an *arcady* (not too arcady) *game with dope graphics* it could turn out great,by allowing the player to have more fun. Some examples: SYM,HCTP,SvR 2007,SvR 2011,WWE 2k14

It's gotten worse what's the point of buying it then

I don't find a good reason to buy it if you don't have it already. Backstage, 8 Man Matches, and better graphics are what you're really paying for. I regret buying it.

How a ps2 game for example here comes the pain had so much stuff you could do comparing to a freaking XBOX1/ps4 game where everything is limited now but i believe in the next 2 years we will have the best wwe games and you can believe that

In 2k15 there were not too matches like backstage brawl and etc people used to play 2k15 in Xbox 360 and ps3 .

Except alot of those problems were ones 17 also had... Seems like a big waste of time and a bit of lie because the title suggests that there are new downgrades when that isn't the case

CM Pork either way,just like the tv show,the games are getting worse.theyll never beat attitude and no mercy but it’s like they don’t even try.sadly if people didn’t buy them they’d just stop making them rather than actually try to make a good game

I prefer better graphics and bugs fixed than tables system and arena :/

The graphics literally haven't changed since 2k14 you degenerate. There's still a fuckton of bugs and glitches with no improvements to the core gameplay and anything that has been added is either minute or should have already been in 15.

#4 isn't a downgrade, it's added realism, how often do you see people carrying a 30 pound ladder while running?

Im having a recurring problem in universe mode... sometimes when the match is loading its make the "errrrrrrr" sound then completely kicks me out of the game back to the home menu... then i go back in and try to load the same match and it does it again... so i just skip ahead a few matches amd it go backs to normal

There’s absolutely no reason 2k18 shouldn’t have basically every WWE arena ever.

Only reason for less arenas is that there’s no showcase. Also you can just create arenas in 2K18, something not in 2K15

I’m okay with the game restricting placement of tables and ladders. Properly placing them for things was always somewhat tedious. Especially when I’m just trying to superplex my friend before he recovers. Also placing a ladder and climbing it just to have your guy unable to get the briefcase cause it’s a couple inches to the left was annoying.

I love that 2K gets rid of all the fun, over the top content from the old WWE games so they can have more "realism", and then in new games there's a huge amount of glitches, tables don't break, and instead of putting someone through the Hell in a Cell you just teleport to a different part of it.

Broken tables have always disappeared. Take out more weapons in 2K15, and they'll disappear.

Wwe2k18 is still a fun game people just chill

they normally add a 2k showcase for dlc anyways and extra arenas with that. The bit with the tables is quite annoying because you don't want them too disappear but it would glitch ladders etc. Would be good if the ref slid it out the ring and then it disappeared

The game is alright, it's just the main issue I have is the fact that 2K have turned the difficulty way too high like Easy is now Normal, Normal is now Hard, Hard is now Legend and Legend is now ??? as well as the season mode, it is way too short and way too difficult at times (like with the specific stipulations that you HAVE to literally do otherwise you have to redo the match again and again until you get the thing done, especially with the MITB match in MyCareer), MyPlayer being stupidly rediculous, like having to get loot crates to unlock stuff in MyCareer as well as HAVING to go online all the time to unlock the stuff and get loot crates as well as VC and Upgrade points.

They could add ONE thing back and I personally wouldn't care what else they downgrade or remove....custom soundtracks. Being a Create-A-Wrestler junkie, it kills me when my original awesome divas and/or guys have to walk to the ring using a WWE reject instrumental or even worse one of the superstars tracks.

Can you create Divas in 2K15? What about having a replay and video editor? Does the game have that? How many slots to make your own wrestler? Who trains you in Career Mode? Bill DeMott you say? Who does commentary? JBL? What custom options were there to create and modify wrestlers? How well was importing face scans and logos implemented? What was the DLC like on PC? How many could be in a match at once? Did it have backstage brawls?

One thing i hate about these WWE games is how they get better in certain aspects, but then either removes or makes other aspects worse. I just don't understand why they can't just keep what they had, and then build upon that -.-

U understand theyre is also upgrades. Like how 2k18 graphics are a miracle conpared to 2k15. Plus theyre 90% about tlc matches

Ok here goes. 1. Higher detailed wrestlers with Better looking visuals uses more disc space using more memory and therefore taking away memory from other features. 2: more wrestlers means less space for new modes and stuff. 3. The game have improved considerably just because the old games with less detailed graphics were able to keep more things in the background (tables not disappearing etc) doesn't mean they were better because they only did that with less graphical challenge because at the time and age graphics didn't really matter like it does today.

Did anyone else realise that you can't even level/rank up online anymore??? Why did they take it away? That's the only reason I played!

Overall this is a great list. Every year these games see things removed, for no apparent reason. However, I disagree on numbers 4 and 6. Wrestlers never run while holding a ladder or table in real life, so removing that feature is actually an improvement. Having a preset position for ladder placement makes ladder matches far better, as setting them up in the exact spot was very frustrating in previous games.

Also the lack of chairs in a TLC match is irritating. Also wish the weapon wheel was available for fca,last man standing matches,triple threat and fatal four ways etc. Match creation disappointed me this year can't even make a extreme rules last man standing. Pretty simple match type I should be able to make right?

why people say that 2k15 is the worse game in ps4.compared to 2k17 and 2k18.

I still like 2k18 better than 2k15, mainly because of improved graphics (sorta) and bigger roster

Techy Guy Yes i also like the new game but WWE2K18 its feels i don't a bit weird when i was playing SVR 2011 in the good old days i had really fun the Online was better and when you actually play extreme rules or somethink like that it was really fun you put your opponent trough the table and it was Fire

Also you can't export your myplayer character for use in local multiplayer anymore in 2K18

The only exception I have with this video is the title as it should've been WWE 2K not WWE 2K18 as a few of these happened on WWE 2K17 like the one where you can't place tables wherever you want. But great video.

Broken tables don't disappear after 10 seconds for me on 2k18, though they do when you grab another table.

The ONLY thing that bothers me about 18 is the crowd lighting. It's not as bright as 17

1 for the arena you can create it 2 for the table disapear « who cares » i mean you can’t use the table anymore so why keep it in the ring ? 3 « you can’t place the table or the ladders where you want » i agree for outside the ring it’s a drawback but on the ring it’s better for landing your oppenent’s on 4 they can’t do a perfect balance system (you can see a glitch in the video) But for the rest i’m totally agree with u

I loved using the half open tables in the other 2ks. It just felt better than using it regularly

It only allows 2 tables at once if you have 2 tables at the crowd area.

Gang DooDoo it was a decent roster and the arenas were so good ( like many from ruthless aggression era)

WWE 12 was the last great game. 2K18 seems to be the best so far out of the 2K series.

I didn't know about a 2k Showcade mode

I don´t really miss the showcase mode. The career mode could be better though since older games like SVR 2008 had a great season mode that was way more fun to play.

I pre ordered but haven't opened the game yet. This is the first WWE game I bought since WWE 13. The last one I played since was WWE 2k17 and I kinda liked. Should I keep 2k18 or take it back

Yes, keep it. 1 of these downgrades got fixed, a couple don't matter, and three are false BS

half of these I either done really notice nor care about, showcase mode, limited tables, less tables to use, limited places to place tables, cant run with ladder or tables. I like having things realistic even if theres some glitches here and there with extreme moments from here and now. Even though theres some less stuff. 2k18 is one of the best wwe games in a long time.

I'm glad they have fixed positions for tables and ladders, ladder matches were almost impossible

I honestly never understood why they had to regulate the use of weapons, 2k15’s weapon physics were the best on the new generation. They should keep the table match table meter thing and the new ladder match minigame though Edit: By Regulating weapons I meant you can only put Tables and ladders in certain places and only use them and other weapons in certain ways. IGN put it best. The series take one step forwards and 2 back with each game.

NOTE: The 1.03 patch now allows broken tables to stay throughout the match and have four tables, thankfully. Not sure why they gave a time limit. Also the "you can't place tables wherever you want" thing is not new in 2K18, that was in 2K17 as well. Also #8 is not really a thing. There's still lots of rope interactions you can do. There's a facebuster that can glitch them out of the ring if performed in the right spot. And #9 is just a complaint where they got rid of some of the old moves. They will probably be replaced soon. So I'd say now there's only 6 downgrades not 10, and 2K18 is still a much better game than 2K15.

For #8 there is one move in 2k18 that interacts it's called the alley oop facebuster

If you have been playing the Yukes and THQ WWE games since the first SmackDown then you already know the next game will have less features then the last game

For #9 you got to add the finisher for ladders

Some of the things you say are right, but do you remember how hard it was put someone through a table in Wwe2k15? And what about the fact that it featured the smallest roster ever in a Wwe game?

Everything did downgrade but the running with tables or ladders is understandable because no one runs with them unless if they are going to him them with it

For me in wwe2k18 the broken tables last until you get a new weapon

Idk about you guys, but the physics engine in 2k15 was my favorite thing. The amount of hilarious/brutal moments I had with that are too many to count!
