Fun fact: sone bomb actions in japan were much worse than the nukes (also because mist citys were build using wood and fire goes brrrr). The nukes were just same destruction with one bomb not more destruction. Also, they went the main reason for the Japanese to surrender. It was just easier for the government to say „they have god weapons we have to surrender“ (less loss in honor) than „we weak them strong (much lost „why we weak its your fault“)

For the tree swastika things: You can cut a circle around the tree through the cumin layer underneath the bark that will kill the tree and turn the leaves brown. It's a good way for homesteaders and such to dry out trees for firewood if they need to drag them out of the forest, cuz all the water will follow gravity so it will be much lighter once felled.

4:30 ok, hear me out on this one, if they had more oil, they kept the gold in Germany instead of giving it to Switzerland and Japan didn't bomb pearl harbor for no apparent reason, I'm not saying the axis would have won, but their chance of winning would have been higher than 50%. A lot of bonus points if they waited for spring before breaking the alliance with the soviets and Italy actually gave decent gear to their soldiers instead of antique rifles and shitty boots that had the consistency of cardboard due to the low temperatures and being soaked in snow
