These videos are funny and really easy to understand in the same way. Thankyou for this. As a returning player after 9.5 years i forgot how to forge legendaries again and this really helps. I wasnt sure if i needed the 2nd ascended wvw armor set ( the expensive one after the regular ascended wvw armor set) to get legendary but thanks to your video i know now the first ascended armor set (175-260-350 tickets each) is enough to make my legendary. Keep it up and thankyou for the video. I subscribed.

The video doesn't mention that this is just for one of the three (soon to be four with the next expansion) legendary armor sets. There's a PvE raid armor set and a PvP armor set. The upcoming expansion will introduce an open world legendary set.

I actually started on my Legendary WvW armor. Not crafting yet just buying ALL the Exotic first then buying ALL Asceneded pieces THEN going to forge piece by piece :D. Thanks for the video it does help alot.

oooooh that's actually neat to know that the mistforged precursor is not required for the legendary looks :> i have pretty much everything but the tickets, i do wvw all day lmao. Will end up making all my legendary armor from wvw, all 3 sets :> ty! just need to save 2k tickets for each piece, everything else is ez, already have over 15 gifts of battle from the reward track i was doing for clovers mostly XD

@@deadeyedickification quite literally it _does_ change your stats, to anything, at any time, infinitely, on the fly, at no cost - beyond that though, a good way to approach crafting leggies is... surprise... enjoy the process. Don't "grind" when you can have fun by just "playing." Set your schedule or just play casually, in time, you'll have enough of everything, and more. Enjoy the journey, vary your activities, play the game for what it is - a game. Have fun!

Great Guide, bud! Also, one thing you left off of the Grandmaster Mark, rather than using the shards, you could craft them, but I'm assuming in WvW, if you got enough claim tickets, you probably have enough shards to buy them instead, so probably not relevant.

Yeah the biggest bottleneck are skirmish tickets since you can only get X amount of them weekly. On the other hand, sometime in the future with the new expansion we are getting PvE (non raid) legendary armor. I'm looking forward to that.

With the new updates you can get quite a few more, as long as you play a lot, or be very active if you can't play for a long time, getting Gold Participation while defending/atacking will give you 1 Skirmish Ticket, and there's no CD or anything, so you can do multiple events, and as long as you get Gold, you will get the ticket, of course that depends on how active your server is as well, gotta mention that. I remember a few days ago, we were defending T3 SMC on my server, it was around 30 minutes of constant fighting (since we were defending against the other 2 teams), and i got an extra 10 tickets just for that, may not seem like a lot, but since you can do that daily, they add quite a bit over time.

Nice Job brotha! To make it look like the Mistforged variant you just have to purchase the Mistforged ascended pieces from the vender when you meet the requirements, then transmog your set to look like it

FYI, the fractals vendor is 10 mystic clovers/week you can purchase now, not 2/day.

I play since release. crafted over 10 Gen1 Legys, so I did a decent amount of WvW for the Gifts of Battle. Yet I have only 1661 Skirmish claim tickets, without ever spending any. I dunno how people consider getting this armor feasible.

I bought 2 pieces for my mesmer thinking it'd be easier this way to get ascended gear not knowing it was actually the items to make the legendary XD now i need to rebuy them cuz i transmogged them lololol, good thing i learned this when i bought only 2. Then I used some tickets to get 50 tokens needed for my legendary rune to get the free legendary relic tomorrow x) it's possible, glad wvw is my favorite game mode.

Thank you for making this video but this looks like a total grinding nightmare.

1 year of crazy grind and/or insane RMTing (for resources)... easy... yeah...

Honestly, except for the Skirmish Claim Tickets this is actually easier than I thought. Especially only 15 Mystic Clovers, thank god. Memories of Battle do suck as well but at least they're tradable. At the same time I think getting the Mistforged version just for a little glow is ridiculously expensive. I can't believe the fucking legendary armor doesn't look the best way possible from the get go. But now that I think about it, none of the versions look that great. So I would probably transmog them anyways. Which is kind of sad. But hey, that's ANet's treatment of non-PvE content for you 😅

I think your fine transmoging the precursor, if you stat change it in the Mystic Forge it will change it into a different item though

Anyone know what the armor his character is wearing is called? I simply must have it.

i think ill haveto watch it few times lol but u made the chest piece ...so i kinda didnt understand how it works for the rest of the items :S ngll i think i got like 75% of the stuff alredy maybe /more wvw if u could explain whats going on with the rest of the items or i missed something [i mean gloves boots shoulders etc.. ]:)

It's the same exact process, u just purchase the precursor for what ever piece you are making (gloves, legs, etc..)

No, each piece requires 1 gift of battle, from the reward track, and 1 triumphant armor piece from the triumphant armor reward track.

Yeah, no... 2 almost 3 years into the game, I only missing one piece of ascended armor to have a full ascended set, rings and all of that, casual player here... plus, I barely do PvP or WvW, if I start it today, by the end of the year I may have 2 or 3 items of he require 4, nice video though.

Indeed this is easy, but WvW leg armor is the most drawn out and time consuming.

I did WvW for 6 weeks to get the tickets required for Conflux. And it burnt me out and had me stop playing for a years. WvW feels like an aimless cat and mouse game, a carebare version of Warhammer online.. they need to spread out those tickets evenly so you can do it in and out casually and still make progress. 3 tickets at the start is far to low.

After step 1 was done. So should the armor. One thing I hate about this game or any game is how they force you into doing the most boring things for a reward. If the only thing I want to do is play fractals, and I play fractals for 3000 hours, I should be rewarded a full legendary armor set as well. I shouldn't have to go do open world content I don't enjoy, or WvW content I don't enjoy, or PvP content I don't enjoy. I should simply be rewarded for playing the game. It shouldn't be hidden behind challenge modes either. Giving a fairly new player a legendary item for simply doing world content, wvw or pvp every few months, but rewarding someone who plays fractals for thousands of hours, or dungeons for thousands of hours nothing makes absolutely no sense. people love to justify their own preferences like they deserve full legendary armor in wvw but not dungeons or fractals. Kiss my bare cheeks. I've done enough WvW to say hands down it's in no shape or form any more challenging or complicated content. It's to be fair extremely simple content. And yet, full legendary armor. SMH @Anet

So the rest is the exact same, you just pick the other ascended precursor piece, ie. legs, helm etc..

I think ill pass, my time is too precious than wasting it crafting a fancy "skin"

it is.. legendary gear is optional and meant to be a grind to give something for the non-causal players to earn... its not any better than gear you can get much easier... the only thing legendary has going for it is the fact that it can be equipped on all your characters at once and you can freely change stats/runes and transmog it for no cost.... legendary armor is a bonus/convenience thing

yep gw2 is not for me lol. This to much for 1 piece of gear 🐵

its not mentioned in the video, i think, but legendary armor only really exists for the convenience of freely swapping your stats around. theyre on the same power level as ascended gear which is much easier to obtain. getting your full (ascended) set is very easy compared to this. think of legendary gear as something of a very long term personal goal to work towards, either for style, convenience or bragging rights
