Wurstfest 2019 - What it's actually like at Wurstfest in New Braunfels, Texas
If you went to Wurstfest in New Braunfels, Texas this year on November 1st or November 10th, you might be in this footage! ;)
This was filmed in New Braunfels at the annual Wurstfest food and beer festival on Landa Park Dr. Shot with a DJI Osmo Action, walking around the festival to hear, see and possibly smell all of the vibes that make Wurstfest indeed Wurstfest. Shot on November 1st, 2019 and November 10th, 2019.
I kept it as raw as possible so that you can really see what Wurstfest is about.

New Braunfels has a strong German heritage a dialect called German Texan is spoken here there is an amazing waterpark and the largest Buccee's too. Such a cool place. Wurstfest is like Oktoberfest. I saw a guy wearing leiderhosen

That's awesome! I want to visit Braunfels someday. Is Prince Karl of Solms-Braunfels talked about in your town? He basically started New Braunfels (with the Adelsverein in Texas). Cool stuff!

It's amazing. It depends on what you mean by authentic - New Braunfels was founded by Germans making their way into Texas from the coast and their descendants have been here since. They didn't start Wurstfest back then but have had a lot of traditional German events making the community super tight. With that said, a lot of tourists come from all over Texas since it's so popular. We'll see what happens this year! I think it's the 60th Anniversary.
Strange to see all these things….. And hey, it‘s only typical bavarian- not typical german!😂
