For $70, that's about as cheap as you can get for this LED, which is already ridiculously expensive to begin with, but well worth it. Normally I'd nitpick, but it's hard to do so with a light at this price range, given it's about as perfect an introduction to the SBT90.2 as you can get if you're new to massive output single cell throwers. Wurkkos has a real winner here: good build quality, nice mid-range reflector, good UI to pair it with, nigh unbeatable value. Great review!

Just received my TS30S Pro which happens to be my first Wurkkos flashlight. I haven't bought flashlights in a few years but I have a bunch of ones that run on 18650 (Convoys, Astrolux, Sofirn, etc), thought it was time to upgrade to 21700, hence the TS30S Pro. I must say that I'm very much impressed. To be able to pack an SBT90.2 in such a small package that runs on 21700 and Anduril 2 UI with an RGB button switch . USB-C chargeable. Stainless steel bezel. Nicely machined aluminum. For this price it just blows my mind. If you want a quality, carriable SBT90.2 it's hard to do better than this IMO. Thanks for sharing!

These TS 30S are great lights. I like the balanced beam the one I have produces. I have the first version, and it will get hot, I just have it set the way I received it so it likely steps down possibly faster as well. I only use the Turbo option for only seconds at a time, so the one I have does the job for my needs. Also, the first one came with the big shark tooth bezel as I call it, I only installed that one time and it affects the beam and makes the light not as handy so I don't typically use that bezel at all. Good video, looking forward for the next ones.

The Pro definitely has a more intense hotspot and thus more throw. I also switched the tailcaps. The larger wider one from the older non-Pro gives the Pro better hand feel and balance. It adds a little length but for this type of light that is acceptable. Also, as I mentioned on an earler comment, the tailcap from the older version has double springs - provides less resistance, so possibly a few more lumens. The older version heats up faster probably owing to the Pros’ larger head and larger, deeper cooling fins. This TS30S PRO is definitely one of my favorite lights, packed with goodies and Anduril 2 to top it off. You’ve got to have this one in the lineup, period. I've been looking into this light I'm probably going to pick one up it seems like it has a decent sized hot-spot that travels far and that's what I'm looking for i dont want a tiny Hotspot that can lght up an ant a mile away lol.

I bought this lantern, but the conditions in Turkey are still different. It cost 1/12 of my salary. It was exciting to watch and understand you, good luck...

I just tested my TS30S pro and it is a beast!! It gets hot pretty fast on high though.

@@smotheredchrome I just tested my night watch NS14 43000 lumen and this thing is a beast for flood! Only thing is it gets hot really fast too. But for around $120 not bad price. It's unmarked. Just says chaos on the stainless steel bezel. Plain brown box, no instructions.

Awesome review! I really like this light, it’s just an all around improvement over the original TS30S. I have the original TS30S and while it’s not my most powerful light it is definitely my favorite. I am not surprised it is 4000 lumens and it’s probably a good thing. I get what people mean by it’s too small for the sbt90 but at the same time if you want a light at this size to be the most powerful thrower it can be then you can’t beat this setup. A convoy M21D with the sft40 is a similar but cheaper alternative but it is not going to be nearly as powerful, the ts30s is twice as bright and bigger hotspot/spill. There are much smaller lights with the sbt90 like the lumintop fw21 X9L and while I wouldn’t buy one I’m happy it exists and is a choice for people who want something like that. Honestly most lights with the sbt90 are too big, like the convoy L8, sure it’s going to outperform this light but it’s so big I’d never take it with me on an extended outing or carry it in my pocket. They are all great choices depending on use and I personally love that we are so spoiled for choice in this hobby right now.

I couldn’t help myself lol, after watching this video I went over to aliexpress and bought this light. There is so few left available I was worried they would go out of stock for months like the ts11 did, I bought the last one available without a battery included. I’m going to compare it to my original ts30s and probably will only keep one and sell the other. I’m just hoping the pro is like the original with how compact it seems for its actual size, the original ts30s has the exact same head diameter as my convoy m21c but it hides its size much better, the ts30s is somehow more slim in the battery tube and it’s a good amount shorter and lighter. It is just a really cleverly designed flashlight and I hope the new pro version is the same way with just the extra 6mm head diameter. I’m worried that with the extra diameter and if it’s much longer or heavier it could push it into the realm where I won’t carry it as much as my original ts30s. I know I don’t ever carry my m21c or l21b, mainly they are just too heavy but also a bit long, so there really isn’t much room for me to move up from the original ts30s. Time will tell but there might be an original ts30s going up for sale soon.😉

@@Next96300 yes those lights I own too and they outperform the ts30s in throw by a bit but the ts30s is so much brighter and more useable. I know it’s not much in size either but when I’ve tried to put my m21c or L21B in my jacket pocket I know it’s there the whole time vs how the ts30s disappears for me and it just fits in my car center console where the others are too long. It’s the same reason I like my L21B more than my L21A, technically the L21A will give longer run times but the increase in size and weight isn’t worth it to me personally and seems very substantial to me. I did just comment here that I did end up buying the ts30s pro and I’m even worried that will push it to far over the original ts30s to where I won’t want to carry it as much, I get it varies person to person but for me the original ts30s is just perfect. I should have checked the specs first because the pro version is also 4mm longer, I hope it still fits in my center console.

@@Next96300 yeah I saw they totally sold out on Wurkkos site and I think they will be gone off aliexpress really soon too. I wasn’t going through that again, when I decided to get the ts11 it was sold out and I waited months checking all the time for it to come back in stock. That one paid off though because I got the new version which added rgb lighting to the button as well as the aux under the tir. Thank you for the heads up on the lt1 lantern too I’m gonna go check it out now and might grab one thanks to you. I have been considering getting one of the lanterns that could take advantage of all the batteries I have anyway, I mostly have 21700 but also some 26650 and 18650 etc but I have a ton of unprotected 21700.

@@Next96300 I hear you for sure, I actually commented on this channel that I was initially not blown away by the original ts30s but I think it’s because I was expecting much more out of the sbt90 alone. Over time it grew on me and now I never reach for my bigger convoys, they are substantially bigger, much lower brightness, and the extra bit of throw became insignificant. It took a while and some more experience with other lights but the ts30s became my favorite light as a whole package.

i buyed the astro sh55 9300 but i dont have gadgets to measure; but even from high-mode stepps down on level in 5 minutes [with vapcell 6200/litokala yelow 5100 and trlife 5200]; i donno if with moli 45b the bright light will be not just brighter at start but will last more longer?

On the Wurkkos website it shows runtimes that are 90 minutes on Turbo and 100 minutes on high. This is vastly different that what's listed on your box. I wonder what's going on there?

I've been looking at this light for the last couple of weeks. I'm glad you picked one up so we could get a look at one in the real world. The lumen test was kinda disappointing. That's a lot of lumens to be short iimo. It's still a nice light regardless and it seems like a good deal. Could you make a video comparing it to your Convoy and other throwers? I was thinking about that light next month but I'm starting to think there may be better choices for what I'm trying to accomplish. I really like your giant Convoy with the big battery but don't want something I may not be able to get batteries for. Have you had any experience with the Nightwatch brand? They have several lights that look promising. The Nightwatch NS59v2 claims to be a 32000 lumen light for around 110 dollars without batteries. The reviews I've watched only got about 2/3 of the stated lumens but that's still an amazing amount lumens for a hundred dollar light imo. Anyway, I thought you may know of this brand and may even own some of their lights. I've watched the majority of your videos and don't remember seeing any Nightwatch lights but I could have just missed it. If their stuff is reliable they seem like they have some of the best deals to be had on high performance lights.

@@smotheredchrome They almost sound too good to be true. There's several KZread videos about them. The people in these reviews seem to like them. I think many of them were given them by the sellers for free reviews. I'm not saying they weren't being honest in their assessments just that it may have influenced them a bit. None of them can speak on the lights long term reliability so who knows how long they will last. Hopefully they end up being tanks, they look well made. If they are these other budget flashlight companies will have to up their game. 😊

Assume the RGB switch can be set to battery voltage display mode. I've come to very much like that feature. $80 is fair, if not the screaming deal the old model was at 60-65. Still, If I decide I want a SBT90.2 powered light, this T30S PRO is going to be highly considered. Anything bigger I would never carry. Edit: I heard you say at the end you got it for $70. That price probably makes this the clear choice.

Yes I would definitely pick the l8 over the pro simply because I like big lights and you have many battery opinions with a adapter but if you need portability the pro is a great choice IMHO.

so even with moli 45b just 4600 but they put the cailm that is 6000 [and with their battery it should be the honest of 6000 but that has not even like this with moli]

It's a excellent light especially with the anduril 2 it will heat up but will hold medium levels well.

I thought is a good torch, but it drops so fast in the tube measurement. And gets so hot. how is the heating in high mode, have you tested it?

I read a reddit post about this light, user stated that the light has a very high turbo output but that it very quickly drops down to about 300 lumens and struggle to even maintain that. Are you experiencing the same low output?

I’ve been running mine the same way for three months and was getting it hot enough to get burnt so I decided to test just how hot it would get with an ir temp gun. I let it run on turbo for longer than I normally would and I couldn’t believe when I saw my ir gun hit 183 degrees Fahrenheit. I did shut it right off at that point but I still get it burning hot all the time and it’s fine but I wouldn’t suggest doing that if you aren’t okay with the possibility of damaging it. Although I imagine you would burn yourself long before you damage the light.

Some weak specs. 110 lumens 14 hours 😢 480 lumens not even 4 minutes Not even 2 minutes above 1700 lumens For some reason I thought it would be allot better specs

That’s with the stock thermal regulation, I calibrate and turn all my Wurkkos lights with anduril way up and they will maintain the highest outputs for an impressively long time. With the stock settings even the original ts30s barely gets warmed up unless you continuously put it back into turbo so it can handle turning up the thermal reg a good bit.
