Realized just how quick it is to make a video in this new format. I could easily upload 2 videos a week. Talking in videos takes so much time, especially when I struggle talking and 10 minutes can be up to 2 hours of mistakes, plus editing voice levels and other things. @@AverageReviewsYT both have a FET driver, so yes and no. I have 18pcs of the L21B SBT90.2 in transit for hunters to mount to their rifle, it'll be great for that anyway.

Its better to make notes, for the talking part. So you only speak what you have written, in a tactile manner of course, and you can strip them to the important points only. Anyway, Good review as always J' Cheers

Completely agree with you for the conclusion. The crap driver is the one thing that holds it back. Fortunately, Terry from Wurkkos said on BLF that they have a buck driver for this light that is being tested. The bad thing is the turbo output would likely to be reduced to 1600-1700 lumens. But as long as it can sustain something like 800lm with good regulation, it's still a lot better than the current version.

Thanks for another great review. Going forward I'm going to eschew buying any new flashlights with an unregulated driver. Buck. I hope Wurkkos, Sofirn and Convoy all step up their game and use regulated drivers exclusively.

​@@aceman5125For an unregulated driver the brightness of the light drops as the battery gets drained. For a regulated driver the light output stays constant even though the battery is getting drained.

Terry has confirmed that Wurkkos is currently updating the TD01 with a buck driver. Keep an eye out for that.

Yeah, I'll be reviewing it. Most likely will just use the same footage, unless it's not the same output, and just include a comparison runtime graph 🙂

Yeah J, agree this would have been a good one if not for the aggressive dive and low sustained lumens.. Wurkkos should put TS22 driver and slap in XHP50.3 HI or SFT70 + TIR for the next series td01v2.0 and v3.0.. since ts22 driver have good regulation and works well with Tailswitch, and without that 0,5 sec delay found in td01,fc12 tacticalUI and sofirn's sp31v2 tailswitch engagement. If this happens, i'll get one myself.

The issue is that the XHP50.3 HI is now available in 3V, so I bet they'll ditch boost drivers now. The HD50 headlamp has a 3V XHP50.3 HI with FET driver. I will confirm this over the next week or two, but it's not a boost driver unfortunately.

​@@PiercingTheDarknessI'm not that surprised, at the minimum, Wurkkos is using the same design platform with Sofirn for their drivers, perhaps even the same driver itself, with little tweaks or cuts here and there. I hope Wurkkos and Sofirn take notes of the benefits should the go this route. 🔦

Wurkkos just released the TD01C version with buck driver.

ok ok ok thanks for the advices brother i see what your saying now yeah wurkkos is cheap and i do like there lights allot but i do rather have good runtimes with high outputs for sure so thanks for letting me know about this at the end of your video god bless brother and how did you buy all these ligths i hope not at the same time lol tthese 4 lights cost more then my rent does lol and yeah i try and sup up my lights to full power with the Ui not sure if the wurkkos TD01 has that option or not but i really like the wurkkos TS10 allot i have 3 of them but i only paid for 1 and got 3 lol thats what i do with rich scumbag companies like wurkkos and sofirn they can afford to send me 3 lights for the price of 1 lol

man i wish i could afford anyone of these lights but owell not everyone can live a good life and not everyone can be rich and not everyone can have fun and not everyone can have a great life without cancer lol theres litterly kids dying from cancer and all we do as humans is care about our selfs no wonder why god is going to destroy the world again
