I want to hug this woman and tell her thank you for her contribution in math and science. She's so humble and sweet.

Yes, wonderful interview....I like that she said to the interviewer "you are intimidated with how your parents perceive math". She is right on!! I'm am a Black American that also majored in science and math, and when you are confident in what you do, you can work with anyone and accomplish whatever you set your mind to,.....if given the priviledge

I think now is the time for her to be recognized due to the dismal state of education and children's curiosity. She is a great role model and showed how to deal with a difficult situation with grace and class. She didn't complain, she just did what she wanted to do. So different from today. This lady has an agenda that Katherine is not buying into. Obviously it was not a barrier to her - she did it!

I got the same impression . The interviewer is so race obsessed she couldn’t believe Mrs Janhson just did her work and it was all about mutual respect.

The problem is that people think that the movie is a faithful retelling of what actually happened, when in fact most of the memorable events were simply made up out of thin air to fit the Hollywood PC propaganda message. The main actress looks nothing like the real Katherine Johnson.
