I love how Moncule mimics Screemu's part. I always thought they give the song a bizarre sort of feel, which makes sense given the nature of the wublins.

​@@Pufflune it's not a one for one mimic, but especially around the end you can hear it. I think it's supposed to be a Bleatnik and Yawstritch sort of thing, they just underused Moncule a bit.

The Wublins have always felt isolated from the rest of the monsters to me. They used to be the only monsters with the egg style of obtaining, the island used to not be decoratable, and every single monster was brand new. With the edition of two other egg islands, wubbox and monculus as returning monsters, decorations, and rares, IMO Wublin island blends in a lot better with the rest of the game but still feels unique and cool in it’s own right.

@@hakai1014 I suppose that’s in part thanks to just how many monsters they put in. Amber has 32 ‘parts’ in the song. Counting dipsters as one ‘part,’ that’s a large margin above most islands. In my experience, I do agree though. It feels like a number of monsters are just kinda there..I suppose it’s better than bloating too much and not feeling like a song, but still.

Wublin Island is the third youngest island and the youngest island up to this point to not have a Seasonal. Everything on it is a creation of the Wubbox, including the island itself. So it kind of fits the incredibly ancient Monculus, who is themed around creation.

I wish Monculus got his own verse on this island. That sound is amazing.

Monculus gives wublin island such a cheery, yet eerie, yet jazz feel. It’s like the island is Duke Ellington and he’s Ella Fitzgerald.

That's actually a neat observation, considering that Monculus was supposedly one of the earilest monsters created, it make sense it would have a sound similar to the colossals.

moncule’s part is so short but it carries the island for me it just sounds somber but still so heavenly

Wublin Island is a whole new level of rhythm and designs to a level i can't even comprehend and i LOVE it. and just imagine how fire even more rare Wublins and possibly RARE WUBBOX on Wublin will be :D (still waiting for rare pixolotl and gheegur)

I love how a lot of monsters get released and they sound so good but only play once.

Yes in the livestream the devs explained the storm around wublin island gets so powerful it creates portals to other dimensions which lets monculus go to wublin island

the bios on ethereal and wublin island say that it was one of the very first monsters ever created by the colossals, and it was one of their first experiments with creating life. the wubbox created the wublins, so both the wublins and monculus are creations of very powerful beings, which makes them fit the theme of "the spark of life" i guess?

Very weird that monculus is here, but also very.. justifiable? I mean, he *IS the ONLY seasonal to be completely comprised of bubblerite and Life formula,* so on the island with *statues* made of probably *Bubblerite,* it fits.

i love that a lot of the wublins are either synth or percussion, also gheegur and thwok are not in either of those categories but they’re still pretty good

Idk about you but the wublins remind me of goblins from a certain show that I forgot the name of, they always used to scream “LETS MAKE SOME NOISE” before absolutely blasting with drums rocks crystals and anything they could find in their caves they were musical creatures just like the monsters in my singing monsters… I still have no idea what the show was called I only remember it from those weird goblins
