Gordon Liu is certainly my own favourite Martial Arts hero...I love his Hung-Gur style of Kung Fu. Plus, aside from being strong and as capable a Kung Fu artist as the next, Gordon Liu has a wonderful sense of timing and humour! In spite of his young age (not even 70 yet) he had a stroke some years back and now sadly resides in a nursing home....He's paralyzed on one side of his body. I do hope the man can overcome it. He was always such an amazing hero and Kung Fu expert!

This is the kind of movie you make fun of but truly love every awkwardly edited minute of.

G. LUI he's the karate master on KILL BILL 1&2.... He is something else, specially with the drunken style.

Gordon Liu has always inspired me of his most amazing kung-fu skills to do the drunken fist and every martial art style of shaolin kung fu against Eagle Han that made him legendary! Even though, this poor girl didn't have to kill herself for that. Thanks Wu Tang collection 👍🏿🙏🏿🥋☯️

Gordon's Kung Fu like very hard fist and so power full.

This is missing quite a few scenes and important plot points.

Lots of Gordon Lui fans comment great movie ! Fillers to go with description: "Yit Ze Ho" is sent by "Wong King Chun" (Eagle Han) to find Lao and One Arm. The girl's name is "Ying Ying". Little boy is "Lao Chun". Master & Lao eat, drink, and fight. Lao does that famous kitchen scene. Now real training begins. Next up is (Chin Yuet Sang's) 3rd fight of the movie. Now One Arm's name is revealed as Cam. Big finale for an "Asso Asia" type of film and this proved to be a well built mansion of a movie as well. Commenters agree !

Gordon Liu, has been my man since i was a small boy, i like him, more than, any martial artist, in china, i have all his film, now that i know, he has some, i have not watched, Gordon Liu, is a champion, i will forever love him, show me any of his film i have not watched.

Mine was when I was 18. At the beginning there was a thunderstorm. The lighting flashed, the guy woke suddenly and sat up from bed and a sign flashed underneath "For Sal In England Only" as if that shocking info was what woke him. Love this stupid film.

My man broth Gordon Liu. I liked when he also stared in Shaolin vs Wu Tang. He is a wonderful martial arts actor. This is another favorite. All the actors are wonderful actors in this one

Good movie.

Drunken fist is a little bit funny movement but accurate. Nice movie.

Gordon Liu acted in so many great Martial Arts movies. One day, he will get more recognition that he deserves, just like other actors. His fighting styles is just awesome. It would have been nice to see him play the villain part against the one & only Bruce Lee or even Jackie Chan. Nuff Said.

The arm being cut off? And the "ahhhhh....ahhhhh...." in response? My favorite is still "Two bowl of noodles" in a cockney accent! I also love "Maybe you'll learrrrn...but...not at the moment". For some reason, that always stuck with me!

Interesting movie. It's a shame that many relevant scenes were cut off. However it is still possible to track the clue.

A classic in Kung Fu movie, of course Gordon Liu with his unique style really elevates this film to cult status. Gordon Liu makes the Drunken Fist Style more realistic to me, even better then Jackie Chan's version or any other version really. Although there is a movie called True Legend (which many didn't like) that gives a story of how the Drunken Fist Style originated and how Beggar So came to be, with all the mysticism and a cameo from Michelle Yeoh, which I think is an awesome movie.

Hung Ga Tiger Crane style (Gordon’s martial art style) & Sam Seed is one of the most lovable of all chars in these (with Chan as his best co-star IMO)

He didn't, but Gordon Liu as well as all the other Hong Kong kung fu film makers loved spaghetti westerns. A lot of these movies have similar themes and plots. Even straight up rip offs. Lol! Lee Van Cleef was in a movie with Lo Lieh called "The Stranger and the Gunfighter" that's worth a watch.
