Hwang Jang Lee is the king of the kings of kung fu movies. He is a Korean martial artist and film actor of Japanese descent. He is a great master of Taekwondo skills and is a dangerous kicker, so he was called "Thunderleg". Hwang was born in Aomori, Honshu Island, Japan to Korean parents, in 1944. His family moved back to Korea when he was a baby. Hwang still actively teaches martial arts. He is currently an instructor with the World Tang Soo Do General Federation and serves as a Technical Advisor. He recently has completed a tour of the US and Canada in which he, along with other Korean Grandmasters, promoted the study and practice of traditional martial arts. In this film, his opponent is Dragon Lee. As Hwang is the eternal villain of kung fu movies, he always has to die in the end, and so in this movie - 5 Pattern Dragon Claws.

This movie has some of the best bad dubbing in any kung fu movie I've seen. Makes me prefer these bunch of voice actors over those same 4 or 5 who did most of the bigger old school kung fu flicks like Five Venoms or the 36th Chamber of Shaolin.

Those four books remind me of the four books of the gospels.

The fighter/Actor in the beginning, in the red outfit, training as the villain is a fierce fighter in all of the king fu movies. He's fierce. I wonder is he a Martial Artist for real.

One issue I have with hwang Lee movies is directors usually projected him as the only one who could kick. Most of his opponents would be asked to largely use hands.

We can see Wang cheng Li top class hand fighting in this one also!!! His fists are deadly with plenty different techniques of hands fighting!!!...It's amazing to see the complete fighter at work!!!! He really had NO equals in the HongKong cinema of the 70ies for sure but it still an opinion of course!!.... That's was a good movie and i enjoyed watching it again!! Thanks for uploading it!!.....
