Yes, even Reba herself said on numerous occasions (January and April 2021 interviews) that Wu Lei is like an older brother who could protect her and Wu Lei is the only male co-star she ever complimented "his future girlfriend will be very lucky because he's an attentive and caring guy who will take care of your emotion". And she really said it twice lol! She could go on and on describing Wu Lei! Her explanation about him was so long we needed to cut it when we edited the video for posting here lol! While other male co-stars including YY, she would only give a very general description like "considerate, positive boy" and very short. When we listened to all her interviews, it's very obvious Wu Lei is more her type than any other male actors she ever paired with because he always makes her laugh and feel protected. With Wu Lei we saw Reba in her real self and authentic happiness.

I first watch teenage Wu Lie in Nirvana in Fire 1 while Reba on Ten Miles & i really like her chemistry with BinBin but sadly they never ended together in all the dramas that they been together. BinBin & WuLie is the only two actors that i like most for Reba coz their manly features really suits her visuals. Hopefully Reba got a chance to work on another project (that have a proper happy ending) with either of the two actors.

Honestly im not too familiar with chinese actor and this is my first time watching c-drama after my last cdrama watch back in 2008/2009 aired in TV lol. But watching The long ballad this week, i didnt even know male lead is 21/22 years old. He looks and act so mature and attentive that i feel like he is older than female lead. Not saying that his visual looks old but rather the vibe he give are such a gege vibe. And i really like strong fl character in this cdrama. Probably my top best drama out of all asian drama ive watched haha

You didn't understand and perhaps you didn't follow the news regarding the production of The Long Ballad. Wu Lei was only informed on the first week of March 2020 that he will be replacing Qu Chuxiao as Ashile Sun. Wu Lei started working out after receiving the offer and script in March 2020. The shirtless scenes of Wu Lei in TLB was only filmed during the last month of shooting (July 2020). If you're still in doubt you can verify it in many news published about TLB promo.
