One of the criticisms of "Addicted" is that it includes sexual assault between the lovers. This version of the story only hints at that possibility, with Wu Bi angrily pinning Su Yu to the ground while trying to undress him. The arrival of Wu Bi's cousin allows Su Yu to escape. This wasn't a romantic scene and it's surprising how many people see it that way.

Yes. I agree to this. Notice SuYu's belt. It seems Wubi took if off. The obsession of Wubi to SuYu... this time the writer and the director of this series are careful in showing Wubi's tendencies for... it is better this way that the old adaptation that caused the series to stop airing. I believe they want to finish the entire volume and to be able to have next season/s they should follow the restrictions of their country.

I don't have problem with the sexual assault though. I'd rather watch a series that sticks to the material rather than trying to please a group of people only. Addicted was purely a victim of close minded people that watched a series and thought they were real. That's so immature. I love both versions and I still think this one should also stick with the material but at the same time I'm glad they are careful this time so as not to suffer the same fate as Addicted.
