WTVT 1975 Pulse Instacam News
This is a 5-minute video demo for WTVT Channel 13 News from around 1975, showcasing their brand-new live "Instacam" capabilities for their Pulse News shows in Tampa, Florida. At the time, WTVT was the largest TV station in Central Florida, and provided a great deal of sports, commercial, and local TV production in the area. The demo was directed by staff director Paul Koenig and hosted by program manager Ray Dantzler, and showed the transition of the station from newsfilm to live video and videotape for local news coverage.

WTVT was truly a high caliber news station. They were on top of the game for years. Even with our modern technology, today's newscasts, newscasters, and format are a pale shadow of the quality "unbiased" reporting, and delivery that we had back in the 70s-early 80s.
God rest Ray Dantzler in peace. My Dad and I ran into him across the street at what was Allied Discount Tires. Very pleasant and classy gentleman.
