Reporter Faith Murphy shows us a neat way area Girl Scouts are preparing to become the best babysitters on their block. And of course, WTOL 11 legend Dick Berry put on his shades to tell us about a unique way some choose to make a living.
Then, in weather, Charlie records a new record-high temperature in Toledo and Orris follows up with the results of the 1986 NCAA Basketball Championship game between the University of Louisville Cardinals and the Duke University Blue Devils!
There’s a big appliance sale at Highland Superstores and to close out the day, Jeff has exciting news for travelers flying Air Wisconsin from the Toledo Express Airport.

If I remember right the summer of 86 or 87 was very dry for northwest ohio, family photos outside show a completely yellow brown grass in the yard

John Smoltz. Wonder how he turned out. Oh yeah... 8 time all-star, Cy Young award winner and Baseball Hall of Fame. Guess he was a pretty bright young guy.
