Actually, WTHR first signed on as WLWI. At that time it was owned by the Avco Broadcasting company and was affiliated with ABC. Somewhere around 1979 they changed call sign into WTHR and became affiliated with NBC.

holly pietrzak I could not be sure if they did or didn’t. 1979 was a little before my time. I’m pretty much a WISH TV eight guy.
