Naked SCBA drill w/ FF Packaging
Below are two quick station drills that are combined together. The first drill is a drill that we call the “Naked SCBA” drill. It is when you “strip” the air pack down and remedy the following problems;
1. PASS device activated
2. Tangled straps
3. Bypass activated
4. Decompression button activated
5. Loose connection on bottle
6. Donning air pack
Then the firefighter moved to a packaging drill. It is important to note that proficiencies in all skills were obtained first before the drills were combined and sight was deprived.
