Hit monkey actually works like wolfsbane, so you dont need to play him last

i love how Hit Monkey on reveal activates regardless of the order you play it!

Actually dekkster tried and even if u don't play hit monkey last he gains the powers of all the cards played so even if the cards isn't flipped yet it counts as a card played this turn i hope it works and i didn't give false information Edit: i was at the end of the vid when i was writing and i just watched the end yes it would've Lol worked lol

The order you play Hit-Monkey in a turn does not matter. Great video. I was able to out power a Shuri red skull without the monkey.

Hey Regis! I was the one with the Shuri Sauron Angela deck in the game, yes I did have hit monkey in the deck just never drew it but idea is to use shuri skip 5 and throw out a bunch of low cost stuff including she hulk on 6 with hit monkey to just spread power everywhere. Was cool running to you in the ladder and hope to see you on the ladder again soon.

If you think about it Regis, every archetype has a killer 2 drop for support. Sera/Bounce-Monkey. Discard-Morbius. Movement-Dagger. Destroy-Buckey. I don’t think monkey is unhealthy for the game. Just keeping pace.

Once again Regis laughing reminds me of a golden fur bear laughing at a comedy show while drinking a nice bottle of beer.

Nice deck I'm running a half bounce using only beast with Hit Monkey so far it's working very good. This card is so much fun that I expect a nerf after the season.

I play the exact same deck but instead of Korg and Rocket, I use Iron Fist and Human Torch. You'd be surprised how often I can get Torch up to 24 power. Bast makes him 3, play Fist and Torch to make him 6, Falcon or Beast to pick them up both up, play them again to make him 12, Falcon or Beast to pick them up a second time, play them down one last time as a 24 (Usually for free because of Beast) Even if I don't get him with Bast, he still often gets up to 16 off of his base power. I find it's more consistent and powerful than trying to guess where they will play with Rocket.

i think Sandman lists usually run Pyslocke and/or Electro, so in a lot of games you're going to be facing 2 turns of only playing 1 card with Sandman coming out on turn 4. That's probably an ez escape though. I've already encountered a lot of players running the Sandman/Doom/Odin line.

@Roger Gibson that’s a cool idea, but if you get hit with Sandman on turn 4, hit monkey decks also rely on Angela and Bishop which benefit from a lot of bounce on at least 2 turns to scale up.

What about slotting a Forge into this deck? Play it second last before Hit Monkey on T6 to give +4 power from 1 card. I know it's the same as 2 1-costs, but could be handy where board space is limited or you can get a second on-reveal from Forge via bounce or Kamar-Taj.

try cutting rocket racoon for polaris / widow / or shang chi. definitely helps against certain match ups! ive found it to be a bit more consistent and agree with you now the darkhawk is not needed!

So the stars just lined up for me and I was able to create a 44 power Hit Monkey

I've run into that beast not picking up cards bug before a couple of times, super frustrating

I think he's a fun card, not broken at all imo He requires a fair amount of resources and functions like a combo deck. Especially since this deck never has priority, cosmo on turn 6 outright ends the game lol Time will tell whether I'm wrong or not though

Agreed. I haven’t used him much yet but it feels a lot like a morbius, mystique, Dracula deck. Not terribly hard to counter. Scales a lot on the last two rounds

Can someone help me with this question? I've red Bast is dropping to series 3 soon. If i pin here in the shop now will she drop to 1000 tokens of the series drop come?

I think they should make the monkey more like collector, that he will start a 2/1 or 2/2 and only get +1 instead of +2, he will still be good, but not broken

T1 Bast. T2 Hitmonk. T3 hood beast return hit and hood. T4 0 cost hood and moon girl. T5 float mana. T6 play 2 she hulk 2 demons and 2 hitmonkeys. Is that just the line? Or is there any higher output?

*there are some changes to this season but i cant figure it out, for some reason the negative HOOD isnt being returned to hand by BEAST for some reason...is it a bug. quin jet is also weird but it might jus be me*

Hope they don’t nerf him it seems really good don’t get me wrong but, leech, wave, sandman, Shang, killmonger, shadow king are already strong counters I think the meta will adjust and he will end up being a card you play earlier like you said at like a 2/6 rather than dumping last turn

I tried playing a similar deck last night and the freaking locations just wouldn't let me play the game... lamentis, deck swaps, unreachable locations... out of like 8 games I never even played hit monkey...

I imagine you'd run into board space issues. Plus then you have weaker money because you have to play it on 5 instead of 6

If you go check the replay on your first game playing bast on turn 5 would have give you more valu on turn 6 but it doesn't really matter you won 😅

Currently at lvl 71 and solely facing galactus decks, so I can't actually enjoy playing this deck... more good times on Marvel snap

Quinn Jet didn't have to get nerfed at all. They just needed to make the stones start in Thanos' deck.

I don't see anyone talking about how buff cards like forge and hulk buster get free value off this interaction. Even if they don't hit the monkey😂😂

She was crashing the game so she's been removed for now. She'll have good synergy with this deck for sure though.

Hit monkey would fit with Serra and Moongirl crazy synergy

It just feels super bad for me that Quinjet got nerfed in my stupid "Shield" deck with a 20% win rate. So they can push out broken decks that I can in no way afford like Thanos and Hitmonkey.

Just like Kitty...Monkey is OP. I usually always run Killmonger and Shang tho to take out cards, so hopefully that'll work, providing they don't bounce the Monkey. haha I did face a Monkey once today and won, but don't think the opponent played it right.

Feel like I see nothing buy shuri and galatus. I don't ever see bots anymore either. And I still can't play the game. It still kicking me off only way I can play Is if I reinstall everytime.

It actually shouldn't. It's not unfair at all since you sacrifice 3 board slots for 4 power (sometimes more) just to play him. I feel like Mysterio is strong but pretty balanced, which is where you want to be with a card

I also played shuri and still recognize and said multiple times elsewhere that the card is busted. I played and loved Aero and said the card needed to be changed. You can play a card and still not be biased about it, that's a pretty clear false dichotomy that you're implying. Care to elaborate a bit further than "found the mysterio main" and explain why and where the card is broken?
