When you shoot a Tortoise tank Cupola with an APHE shell, it shouldn't ricochet into the people and then the ammunition. It should just keep going forward. In this case it didn't. APHE shells do not reflect from the inside if the commander's cupola and into the turret.

That's just how you kill a tortoise, the cupola MG turret is its only frontal weakness.

Tortoise has one weak spot in the front and it’s at 6.7, but Tutel (T95) has 2 Cupola weak spots at 7.0 😔

Isn’t aphe supposed to explode in a cone the way it’s facing not behind it?

The cupola shot is such crap, APHE just explodes in whichever direction it fancies according to Gaijin and not forward in a cone as it's supposed to

It explodes in all direction, the kill cam just shows the shrapnel that caused damage to the vehicle since rendering all shrapnel would be a horror addition for people that dont have good graphics

Well, it did explode forward. The shrapnel wasn't fast enough to break out of the tank, so it ricocheted back in, and the ammo was bs but the 2 crew were good as dead.

Cupola shots are a legit weakness, look at the Tiger H1 or some of the Panthers. I killed a lot of tutels like that

I once had my t95 shot at the cupola by a t26e1 and the shell literally ricochetted in the cupola and went inside and exploded my ammo

Yeah, that's the trick that I've learned. The hatch is the weakspot to those sorts of vehicles.

This is a very late comment but the APHE shells have a fuze delay so the explosions happens 360 degrees but it was mostly against the back end of the cupola and you only get to see small bit of the cone blasting down from the MG turret

Aye I know. Thank you though, the issue was that despite the explosion it only oranged my ammo. At least I think that was the issue, it was like 3 years ago XD

Dont talk to me, the t95 main, about the hatch weakness. You do not fully comprehend the hatch weakness until you have played t95

so yeah the cupola is a normal weak spot, but is anybody gonna talk about how my guy was ammo racked by some dust

@@Wolfpack611 actually it is! Because a shell can go trough a tank hatch and it will always break after the first hit so it will break in pieces and injure or klll members. Shards bounce off with very fast speed
