I've written dialogue between myself too, but more as a guard against anxiety. Yet, I have found that I like to float ideas too. It's good for the mind!
And I love his trick for gauging whether or not he'll run with a new idea for a novel by writing down answers to questions he asks himself! I'll definitely be using it in future! :D
I'm living in Poland at the moment. That's amazing about Rambo contributing to Solidarity!
What a sweetie! Who knew Rambo's father would be so nice? Lots of great advice and good attitude. So is it starving in the wilderness for your next research holiday?
I am so thrilled to see you have David today. I have his book on writing and the audio of it, too. I listen to the audio often and get something fresh from it every time.
David Morrell is a brilliant! I've enjoyed his books for years! This interview is one of the best I've seen. I could listen to him for hours. As a writer, he gives you many ideas to ponder. Great interview, Joanna Penn!

So insightful. Thank you for this. Really lovely.
Joanna again has a wonderful guest author, David Morrellan. As always, her questions elicit answers that help us in our profession. Many kudos to this particular video of Rambo's father. What a treasure. Dale Manolakas, Legal Thriller Author

The daddy of Rambo indeed. This is awesome!
Excellent video! I love Rambo and wish I could work for Gavin to Becker.
Love his mushrooms! And his books!
What a great interview, Joanna. Very cool that you got him to come on.
I have an idea for writers to get free from publishing houses once and for all and I would love to discuss it with an established author to see if it is a tenable idea. I think in the end authors will have to do achieve that freedom anyway.

Nope, couldn't do the wilderness survival thing, sorry!
