This was a lot of fun and an awesome challenge, I hope I could inspire you to try it out :) I'd love to do this more often and I'll add this topic to the wishlist on Patreon from now on. All VIP Club members can also vote on the style of the music in the secret inner circle Facebook group! This time, neoclassical metal was the clear winner.

I'm only driven to play my guitar when I,m writing-making my own stuff. I have no interest in learning chords and scales and get bored very fast. even though I'm improving and like some of what I write, I feel like I have hit a wall and reached my limitations. I can play tons of chords but don't know what any of them are called. from open, power, barre and some finger twisters too. I can solo a bit too but only know 3 scales and the whole and half step trick and not too many techniques. I'm eager to progress so do you have any tips to make doing the boring essentials more fun to learn and how to make notes, scales and chord names stick ?. i just want to improve as fast as possible. as I get really frustrated when I cant get my ideas down and then forget them just as quick as they had sprouted as I cant play what's in my head or figure out where on the fingerboard to start lol. any wisdom you can spare will be much appreciated thanks. great vid cool tune id love to hear a five min composition to see what you'd come up with 🤘🤘

A ? For Bernth and knowledgeable commenters: Back in the day, I used to use Proppellerheads Reason 4&5 to make hip hop beats. But it has been my dream to make metal music forever now. So what is a quality all round DAW to get? Q Base, Ableton, Reason, original some other ones I'm forgetting at the moment. (Amd no, I didn't forget Fruity Loops. It has an easier layout and learning curve, but terrible sounds.) Also, I didn't mention Pro tools cause it's like 1,000$ and I would need to take a semester course to learn it. Thanks ahead of time
