Thanks! I've just thrown one away that no longer stowed the pen i.e. crack after a fall on the outer plastic. Then it stopped erasing and we saw it as the last straw! Could have kept it going with a new battery until my son's birthday with this knowledge. You can't fix everything but it's good to know that these aren't disposable when that happens!

Very useful video, I was struggling for 10mins to remove the case outside after I unscrewed. But the screw head is very small, I used many tools then found the correct one.
