Actually, if you pull an all nighter it is recommended you have a 20min nap right before the sun comes up so it tricks your brain into thinking it’s had a nights sleep as it is getting up eith the sun.

@@madeleinea.1202 This does make sense but whenever I do this those naps become 2-3 hours long and I remember actually missing my test once because I couldn't get up. Thankfully, that test wasn't that important but I still felt bad since I studied for the whole night for it. After that, I prefer looking like dead body running on coffee than taking a nap lol

this is me lol. my awful lifelong procrastination habit has given me the skills to complete most assignments the night before theyre due and get a decent grade, which is not good bc that then enables my procrastination bc i know even if i get to the very last day i can complete it the night before or the morning of (it usually turns out fine and i get a good grade but it stresses me out so much more than it would have if i just worked on it during the time i was given like i was supposed to)

To all fellow procrastinators: a trick that helped me was to just accept that I will do everything on the last day. Once I accepted it, I could let myself enjoy my free time all up until the day before a deadline instead of feeling guilty that I'm not studying.

I just finished a master’s degree and this was me throughout the year. Love how real this is but also a dangerous habit when you know deep down you can leave it till the last minute and come out with a completed decent essay. So much unneeded stress but until you get burned badly by a bad mark it’s a hard habit to kick. Found this channel the other day and love it. I gotta say, watching you crank out 2800 words from absolutely nothing in 5 hours is really inspiring and motivating for me, my essay feels definitely more doable now. Thank you for posting this kind of video and showing honest content, it really makes me, and others I am sure, feel like we are not alone.

So bloody relatable. Keep it going - proud of you! 80% of my essays were submitted 5 mins before the deadline on turnitin. Still managed to get a first from UCL. I LITERALLY considered dropping out everyday, so if I can do it anyone can.

i had a 5000 word dissertation draft due in 4 days and i still have not yet finalized my literature review. literally broke down in tears during lecture because of how stressful uni has been, kept belittling and blaming myself for "procrastinating" the dissertation draft - but in reality it really has to do with the insane workload in uni - so thank you for this video AT LEAST IM NOT ALONE 😵

This is honestly so therapeutic to watch hahaha. I too always put myself in a position where I have to rush submissions. Not proud but procrastination is in my blood

I'm french and I studied in Germany for a year. I basically wrote all my essays in French and then translated them on deepl. It worked very well and I was having good grades 😭

God that’s basically me on a 1pm deadline for a 2000 word essay. The day before the deadline...I’m going to do it today. Today comes and I procrastinate with 0 words. Then it’s 2am ‘ I should sleep I’m really tired’ wakes up at 7am. No words. 9am comes and I’m literally typing away and just about finish at 12:57 noon. And 3 minutes to submit whilst I’m having a panic attack.

I would love to be her friend cause I want and need a friend like her, she has a very amazing and unique personality 🤩

This channel is amazing because it makes me feel so productive 😂, although you’re not the best with time management you are honestly doing so amazing with these essays! in my first year ... I literally cried a few times..because of a lot of deadlines, sleepless nights, and waiting till the last minute half the time..btw... I changed my program and I basically Started all over again in 2021... I'm here because I'm working on my research paper and it's so exhausting. if you were waiting for a sign to start early!!! i'😆😆😆😆😆😆😆m it!!!!!!!!!

It's times like these where I'm so glad that I'm a science major. I did IB before college and the amount of essays we had to write was draining. Definitely wasn't worth all the stress and anxiety I had to endure for 2 years and if I could go back in time I would've just taken AP. So yeah, I'm done with writing essays for life. 😅

oh maaaan. currently a sophomore going to take IB next year bc i’m interested in going to university in europe (and i need a lot of scholarships soo i kind of need to go above and beyond bc i am broke) but i’m starting to think i should just do more AP classes instead....

i think for the most part you’re right. ib classes are def more conceptual and some classes are meant to build upon each other while ap classes are similar to regular classes where you learn the information, learn how to take the exam (saq, dbq, etc.) and then you’re done (or.. at least that’s how i’m feeling halfway through ap world history). when i went to ib meetings it was interesting to see how interconnected the subjects became and how integrated philosophy was with it... but of course i haven’t taken the classes yet so i don’t know for sure. all i know is i’m not quite ready to spend my junior and senior years doing essays and homework. good luck with your ap class though! make sure you don’t procrastinate bc the work builds up
