I've been using chatgpt to actually create the html, css, and javascript. The more you know about coding the easier it is to describe what you want, but just having it write out all the css is a huge time saver.

I've played around with Chat GPT a couple times in the last few weeks, and it is amazing. I asked it to rewrite some marketing text I had written, and it was so much better than mine. You can have a lot of fun with it too. I prompted it to write a country song about some weird scenario I made up, and it was hilarious.

Why would a company pay any writer if they can get copy for free on ChatGPT? Even if it doesnt hit the mark. It's at least something to work with. I thought about going freelance. Now I'm rethinking that. I'm keeping my day job while I see how this AI thing plays out.

Becuase they dont want to do it themselves :) Writers will always need to exist, if for no other reason than to know how to best prompt the system to get the output they want. Chat GPT is just a tool, in the same way Photoshop is just a tool. People make some serious crap with photoshop when they dont know how to use it :)

I was so stoked, I leapt on to the website to get working and....IT'S AT FULL CAPACITY TO USE IT! On a waitlist...

Hey Andrew, sure it would! But the course is really focused on marketing and sales psychology, its not really going to teach her the "art" of web design. As I always say, your website is a business tool, not an art project. As long as she's cool with that, it will work just fine!

Great video... Good insights. The one key thing missing is AI detection. After you've done all this great work... You need do hand re-tool the content to beat an AI detector. Then you're home free!

I can't agree more that writing for your website is the more time and soul-sucking step of creating a website.

Yea, its pretty hard to say honestly. I know there are additional tools you can run it through so it passes ai detection, but I'd just use their writing as a jumping off point, and do little rewrites on your own to be more in your voice, and to correct anything that needs to be reworded, then it would likely pass. Not to mention, google has a long history of saying what they'll punish you for, then not really doing it. So I'd take that with a grain of salt.

theoretically it shouldn't since its supposed to create new content based on the prompts you put in, but it's probably a good idea to run it through a plagiarism checker just to be safe.

Hey John, all Google cares about is this: Is your content helping people, or not? Using AI tools the right way (like I show you here) where there's a human element to it, and it's actual content that people would want to read is fine. Google has softened their public stance on using AI, so just don't use it wholesale to write your content, then copy/paste it, and you'll be fine.

When I use chat gpt, it doesn't remember/retain information from my previous queries so I can't make prompts that follow on from the last one. Do you know why this is?

I think this is temporary... Or, maybe they've reached the end of their beta phase and are getting ready to move it forward towards launch.

The quality of that texts from Chat GPT is so bad. Generated texts are only filler... OK, the fools reading this won't notice, of course... 🙂

@@WesMcDowellInc I disagree. Even as it gets better it will never have all the nuance of human experience. It is a great tool but it is only to build a foundation imo. Human writers, artist, etc... are immensely better than AI for the primary reason of being human. I think anyone can tell that AI wrote something. Lol

I find that to be true too it's easier when you know to use it as an editor instead of a writer.. It's just a corporate speach generator..
