This was a very enjoyable and informative video. Your arguments remind me of the struggle that Ulster-Scots Society had, and has, in Northern Ireland. Many of the brochures, over here, have Ulster-Scots translations as well as Irish, all brought about by pressure on local government, I think. There is even a Ulster-Scots dictionary kicking about; I believe. Keep up the good work.

It took one sentence on thon video before the alarm bells went aff. Unmistakeable tones. Yer spike his grown oot an' yer beard is a bit langer but you've hardly changed a bit. I was a pupil o yours in aboot 1980, an am richt glad tae find ye weel. You must forgive my poor attempt at Doric in this comment, I've been in Northern Ireland too long, and it took me long enough to get English sorted out 😜.
