in the irish education system, a personally essay is a hugeee question in our english end of school final (the leaving cert- determines what college degree we can do). watching this the morning of it it quickly remind myself of how to write a personally essay, and i just want to say thank you so so much. you’ve put me in a really confident, prepared and secure place for it, i appreciate your channel so so much!!!!!

This was a great video. I think some people focus too much on writing for college when writing an essay. I agree that it should be personal, and leave the reader better after having read it. Because you wrote it for them. And for yourself.

:) Next time come see Utrecht also, only 30 minutes by train from Amsterdam Central Station or like 20 minutes from Amsterdam Amstel Station. A nice small old center with canals also and the beautiful Dom Tower :) I never visited the Van Gogh museum myself. The long lines always make me decide to go another time.
