What's more interesting is that they understand that what they did is wrong, and would land them in prison, but still chose to do it, because it was necessary to serve justice. It really shows how the law is sometimes paralyzed to give people the true justice and not the written justice as the law described it. It also is a bit similiar with Mr. Callas how he chose to inact justice in his own hands because the court could have failed him. It's so deep. Fountaine plot asks emotional and relatable questions.

Oh no, Rizzley is a goddamn hero. He did what he had to do to survive and protect himself. Even in states that have a duty to flee, if you're in your own home then the gloves are off. Sure it was premeditated murder, but it was to protect himself. That's not legally self-defense, but I frankly find the idea that premeditated self-defense is illegal to be quite ridiculous.

This is where justice is too unfair. He was heavily punished for only killing 2 person while his parents only get away with death after they killed all of those children who deemed not worthy.

We could've gotten a young wriothesley cutscene... it's a shame but man I'm glad that his story & character gets even more intriguing w this quest

From what i remembered, there was a document about wriothesleys trial, it was said that neuvillette was odly quiet during that trial. And now that we know wriothesleys past and that he killed his 'parents' for justice for his siblings, it sounds similar to what happened to carole and vautrice(i forgot his name) doesnt it? This basically confims that in wriothesleys trial, neuvillette was getting flashbacks to that incident, which is like so sadd😭

Ngl I nearly spat out my drink when he said that he killed his parents. In a game that gives all of the enemies death animations in which they fade away into energy particles instead of bleeding out on the floor with their guts spilled everywhere, I wasn’t expecting them to explore tropes as dark as child slavery, childhood trauma and killing off corrupt, uncaring parents. I actually kinda love how down to Earth most of the conflicts in Fontaine are compared to the larger than life plots of the other regions. Vacher’s twisted machinations, the corruption present in the Fortress of Meropide, Writhesley’s dark past and unyielding resolve to defend those endangered by heinous criminals, Childe searching for his master and realising that his true ambitions might not be what he originally thought they were. Hell, even Arlecchino is in this fight primarily to defend her loved ones and her home nation. Yeah, there’s the Prophetic Flood and the large hole in the sky, but I just don’t really think we’re supposed to care about these things as much as the interpersonal stories of these quest lines.

Now that I've played his SQ, I understand more about how neuvillette said " *I* worked hard for him to have the name and respect he has now" and I forgot where but someone mentioned when neuvillette read wriothesley's sentencing, he was quiet for a while... I can't imagine sending a teen to go to a prison for self defense crime😢

Jeez this guy really does have a dark past 💀💀💀 kinda dark for Genshin, especially how that Melusine from Neuvillette's past end herself from the frame of her people, dark turn Hoyoverse.

The fact that the traveller can use multiple elemental authority without a vision, albeit a weaker version, is needed to reach this step. Another point of Albedo explaining the traveller's origin/creation, the material made that can take on different forms might allude to divine keys. Technically the traveller is a living divine key in Honkai terms, more specifically Key of Blankness, as their elemental skill/burst is the weaker version of the respective elemental dragon sovereign.

The bird loved spending time with Ru and loved when hearing him singing. Other people found out that the bird was interested in boy so they decided to kill him and make a sacrifice to make a good impression on bird. Of course the bird was mad when she saw blood and other parts of boy that were left for them. So bird destroyed all people of the island)

When i first learned he was a former inmate of the Fortress of Meropide, i felt a little uneasy about it before i got to know more about Wriothesley. it seems that he grew up and owned up to his own past mistakes. He has become a man that cannot stand the injustice and similar events that remind him of the past experience he's been trough. Despite how dark it is, i found his story very interesting to learn. That just made me like Wriothesley even more.

Ironically, it was Wriothsley's misrable past life made one of the most powerful individuals in Fontaine as not only he was made the Duke of the Fortress where he was imprisoned but also as one of closest associates to the true power behind Fontaine itself, Neuvillette.

Im glad Genshin tackles real life issue such as human trafficking /missing children.

Tbh I won't be surprised if when the moment Wrio set a foot into the fortress, Fontaine immediately got drenched in rain :'D In Neuvillette's Quest, Neuvillette was oddly completely silent during Wrio's trial. That's probably bc he got reminded of the time when he exiled Vautrin to the fortress for avenging his Melusine friend. Wriothesley & his case must have been reminding him of Vautrin :')

So when Wrio was a teenager, he just came up to his parents and said: *f u* *punches*

Well since he has a soft spot for kids, I can very well imagine he would not have found another method to deal with the children trafficers. He's do it again I say.

This was something, I took a long pause with a surprised expression on my face cause I heard he was an orphan and knew he’d have family issues but I didn’t expect him to actually kill someone. I don’t look at him any different and I still admire his character, now I know why he mentions that the fortress is a place for growth and self reflection ,instead of torment because he him acknowledges what he’s down and owns up to actions no matter the reason behind it

It's insane to me that Wriothesley even ended up in the fortress after THAT story. He found out, that his foster parents were selling children and killing those who stood up to them, he killed them and by doing so freed himself and all the other kids, stopped the child trafficking.... and was found guilty. Yeah sure thing, exile the traumatised teenager who just saved a bunch of lifes. Fontaine's justice is sooo messed up. No wonder Neuvillette was quite during that trial. They both had it so rough!😢

apparently, according to his story and voicelines, the people present during the court proceedings were saying he actually didn't deserve to go to jail because he ultimately did a good thing saving those kids. but it seems he was well aware he still committed a crime despite his motivations, and he even willingly divulged details that weren't discovered during investigation 💔💔

It's no wonder Neuvillette had a hard time to say anything given that a teenager had to save himself and his fellow "siblings" from child trafficking by using murder. Imagine being in Neuvillettes place and having to judge a teenager as guilty and send them to a prison for simply protecting themselves and those around them. I imagine he didn't feel good about it in any way and probably sad that he couldn't have possibly helped him, knowing Neuvillette he probably feels some regret about it to this day.
