Well according to Punk after the backstage fight with Jack Perry. He told Tony Khan that he quit sure Tony might officially "fired" him but Punk was gonna walked out regardless at that point

@@userbarra no Punk said he want to do Joe match because it's his last moment in AEW and to not get the producer and staffs of that match into trouble plus fan that waiting as well after they're done Punk tried to enter the locker room to watch the match but the security seemingly doesn't want him to he left
