One of the main uses for the Rigid One Stop Wrench is Angle Stop Installation. That's why I bought it and it works great for that purpose; It might have been nice if it got a mention for its main use.

I’m an apprentice plumber and I have both of these ridgid wrenches shown. They work great! Just make sure you don’t over tighten with the faucet installation tool or you can easily snap the teeth off of it. Also make sure you use a secondary backup wrench when you are tightening on the supply line to the valves to ensure a tight seal.

HEY! You forgot to show that the other end with the small metal insert ALSO pops out and can be turned in 4 directions for numerous size nuts including the small supply line nuts! It took me a long time to find this out! BOTH ends have removable inserts!

Not to mention the 1/4-inch hex wrench to un-jam a garbage disposal. If you don’t feel like kneeling on a tiled floor and sticking half your body into the wild, unexplored zone under the kitchen sink, look for the tool that you insert from above that lets you un jam the unit by pushing the innards of the unit around instead. It’s a shallow, upside down U-shaped thing attached to a metal bar, designed to lie parallel to the bat in order to fit through the drain and unfold to the right configuration when in place. Problem is the tool has a t-handle that’s too narrow to give you any leverage. Solutions #1: use two vise-grips - one on each end of the miniature handle - or #2: modify the tool by attaching something longer, about 16 inches, parallel to the 4” handle. (Think like Robinson Crusoe and “lash it securely.” If it was so easy to lash one thing securely to another thing no one would ever die.)Then you can turn it with your hands. And don’t put cherry pits down the drain. You get away with it 9 times out of 10, but that 10th time is all the information you need to guide you in the future.

FYI, the rigid sink installer tool will also work on the supply lines will also work on the basket strainer read the promotional stuff you don't need those other two branches for the most part it also has capability of turning on and off your supply lines under the sink.

I used the old style wrench and fought it for over 3 hours to take off the plastic nuts. The wrench didn't work and I had to put a small crow bar and sledge hammer to it. The mineral deposit build up had to be broken before the plastic wing nut came off.

Basin wrenches are a pain in the butt, They hardly ever work. Now baby channel locks are the most important tool I have in my whole van. Use them for everything, especially in places where a basin wrench is supposed to work best. Baby locks are the greatest

The plastic rigid multinut Remover can break if the plastic nuts are super tight. If that happens just remember your best friend may be an oscillating tool with a carbide tip to cut the thread. Last resort though and safety is very important.

Lol time to buy handheld wrench screwdriver style that’s what I use for those toilet and sink lines way better! The basin wrenches are a must also

home depot has them too, possibly lowes as well. I have almost bought one but still haven't needed it really, baby channel locks always come through for me.

nice video, however, I don't think it can take the nut off of the kitchen fixtures that are held to the basin with 1 large nut; like a Kohler Simplice.

notch out a piece of PVC pipe and use it to tighten under sink nuts.

Every plumber needs an 18" and 24" inch pipe wrench (maybe two 18"s) 2 channel locks a basin wrench and a torque wrench.

Yes, but it's basically "just glue it up there with construction adhesive."

What's the difference between faucet wrench or basin ?

Plastic wing nuts "helpful" for consumers? Um, no, just plain NO. It's CHEAP, not helpful. You STILL had to use a special tool.

I always tighten them by hand and get them pretty tight. I don't dare put a tool on them of any kind because they will break very easily. It is the cheap way out. Not installer friendly imo.

That wrench is too small for some faucets that have 1-1/2" retaining nuts!!! What do you guys use??!!!

Yes, they're an option...

Why hasn't anything been done to redesign the fitting so it isn't necessary to buy special tools to install plumbing. Unless you're a plumber you won't get much use from special plumbing wrenches.

There has been plenty of changes to make things easier... That was part of the point of showing just three tools can now cover most needs... But none of that changes you still need to be sure you have a water tight seal and as long as the plumbing is in a tight and confining space then you are going to need a specialty tool in order to reach it and be able to apply enough force to be sure it is sealed tight enough..

They didn't touch on the fact that the majority of faucets come with integrated supply lines. Meaning you mount the faucet, then hook up the 3/8ths connection to the shut off valve and turn the water on.

That was actually done with the modern faucet shown, these tools just make it easier. The segment was on specialty tools. Also in a remodel situation you can install the sink and faucet to the counter out in the open, then install the counter to the cabinet and hookup the supply lines to the shutoff valves.

At 1:00 - "...never well-lit underneath a toilet." Well shit.

Hello This old house,this is me back again Rajaa I wonder in multiple functions methodology and how to make co workers field job much easier than it is .A star lights my mind with these handy tools and I asked myself is it really easier than it was or there is more in our brains and we didn't agitate the industrial societies through or within ,Oh me I'm still possessed into the realms of agricultural societies and I loved them but they don't want to listen to me to perform my ideas not data inside the factories,'po po' For instance pipes can be an out fit cabinet you slide the cabinet as a drawer and fix everything then return it back .How do this idea delivered me into the electric company 'I was swimming that day when the light bulbs comes out with the wire I felt frighting and I said to myself how is it risky keeping our imagination ideas away from scientists 'is it possible to buy the publics ideas or it is not a merchandise,don't make up minds people you have to return to scientists .I hope I could have a share if these ideas become true.
