Hey Tom! Thanks so much for this review. It was so fantastic to watch. You got the Wreck Raiders Kickstarter version. The retail version actually comes with yellow dice with pips! Can't wait to hear what you think of the expansions. Thanks so much!
I have different reviewers that I watch for different purposes, some headier than others. Tom says out loud right at the end there why I love his opinion: if Tom loves it, you know it's a good time, and at the end of the day, that's a game's job #1.
this one looks really good! I am always looking for games to play with my son. thanks Tom!
Backed on Kickstarter and so happy with what I received. Very solid little game.
The variety of ways to victory, the exploration and collection aspects, the game play mechanics, all of it reminds me of, "Artifacts, Inc." by Ryan Laukat. Looks like fun! :-)
As someone else said, the retail game does not have those custom fish dice. I also want to point out that the mini expansions mentioned and the stickers on the divers do not come in the retail edition but were Kickstarter exclusive.
I love the look of this game. Those divers are delightful.
Absolutely agree. A wonderful game that is really easy to explain but has quite a lot of depth.

Heh, depth. +1
I basically agree but have a few nagging issues. 1. Stacking the treasures is a pain so 4 colored treasure bags would have been much easier to pull treasure tokens from. 2. Crab scoring inside the box is a waste. A score sheet would have been just as easy since you determine score at the end of the game. 3. If one person focused heavily on just completing exhibits while the other players are trying all the score mechanisms, I found the exhibit person will easily win since they really determine game length. 4. I’m glad they provide the starfish because if some is trying to get a specific exhibit then your opponent takes it, your display is left with several tokens which may not match up with any exhibit on the board. You’d have to use the starfish to convert not applicable treasures to good ones which seems a little wonky. 5. Even with all this, I love the game!!!
Glad I picked this up on a 50% off Barnes & Noble sale.
My only complaint is that the dice should have been a bit more rounded to have them roll a bit better.
It's a great game! I actually cancelled the Kickstarter once I saw the other games KTBG put out, but they reassured me it had a lot of strategic depth...and they were right. The solo game is lots of fun too, a nifty puzzle that you can either relax to or burn your brain with.

We received Haunt the House in time for Halloween and loved it, so I backed this and added Bugs on Rugs instantly.
Great game. We had a lot of fun with this one
How's it compared to Aquatica
I backed this game and it looks and feels fantastic but it has kind of a very slow start and when it starts to speed up its finished. Dont really sure if i like it
Love this game!
Now that's what I've expected Otys to be like!! (yeah, I don't like Otys at all...)
Yeah it’s not tooooo complicated but it might be for a non gamer. Too much going on for them, alot of things to remember. A true medium weight game.
Looks great, love the theme. But it also looks maybe a bit too much on the random side?

I didn't hear him say, I didn't think that, what makes you say it's random?
