Excellent video. Demo seems like an interesting spec. In terms of shadow priest does their leech ability vamp embrace heal them up a lot where it makes them tanky in 3 vs 3 arenas?

Demo does two things well and it's 1v1 vs melee classes (some) and bursty aoe in bgs but it can only do these two during metamorphosis (demon form). Between the uses of metamorphosis you're stuck hardcasting slow spells and lack burst, survival and controll and is easily dispatched by.. everyone. Interrupts/pushbacks/silence/stuns and dispels (basic 1v1 vs non-afk opponent) punishes you way harder thsn affli and destro but unlile those two you have no reliable ways to deal with them. While the visuals are stunning and the few seconds of grace makes you feel strong it's an incomplete spec that leaves you endlessly frustrated. Splendid for dueling your friends warrior alt and doing casual av/ioc battlegrounds though ^^ Only ever player to make it work in retail wotlk arena was Mastawarlock who somehow made it to 2.3~ish to the great surprise of the rest of the warlock pvp community.

I really think you should get yourself a mic though, reading while looking at how the spec plays at the same time is impossible and sometimes the text box disappeared before I was done reading. In that case a written guide would be much better. It's clear you know your shit so you should talk about it instead of writing about it - especially since you can say a lot more about each class/spec in less time when you talk 😁

First of all I want to thank you Nibbai your guides was helpful for me. And can you show us more tips and tech us strategies against HARD matchups. More like How a frost mage can win a destro warlock.. KZread is empty on relevant duel content. especially structured like yours. hi newbies. i have lot of experience in mmorpg and moba, be sure i'm not a bad player, but i forgot what is means to start the big game from scratch when most of player around have lot of practice(many of them playing like 10 years). so i'm NEW too, i have only been in game for a two month. I managed to play on pve and pvp servers for a lot of specs. and i'll tell you my impressions in addition to the words of nibbai on some specs. ARMS. jeez.. it's just a stupid desing idk. for playing you need a lot of macros and you need to understand which stance you are in and which set of weapons at the each moment of time and always swap it. but for each swap of weapons you got global cd and for each swap of stance your main resource(rage) will burn up to 25. MM Hunter. Nibbai said about 30 binds, actually 35 is middle for every specs i tried, but the MM has around 45. Pala. Hybrid PREG really smash melee classes it's fast way for newbies to start get fun(like aww i'm soo dirty yo rogue did you like it?). but as newbie you will can't understand how you can beat any caster. i guess with high gear score in arenas with a pillars a pro players can do something idk. UDK. has low entry treshhold to start winning in low skill bracket(what will be next idk yet i'm new remember) but i'm not sure dk is very interesting class to play Shadow Priest. I will add in the 3x3 arena you have much more tasks, you are no longer focused on dealing damage, you need to control, dispel/purge, heal. i's may be important if you want only dd. ps. Correct my English, I don't mind getting a lesson

Haha ty for the comment! First, about beating counter classes. I said million times in comments and i will repeat once more - im am average player for each class. You need to be main(master)in some class to be able to play 50/50% duel with your counter. I cannot provide that, since im playing 20 different classes in same time and i have no main spec. For Arms warrior you dont have to think about weapons, since weapon is part of the macro so you dont actually swap manually, once you enter Def stance your 1H weap and Shield are equipped for example 💪 Yes Paladins can do a lot in arenas, just like i said in the video. I was talking about 1v1 situations where you cant LoS, pala lose to every caster Mm hunter, yeah i didnt log to check the right number 😁 For shadow priest yeah, if there is no healer priest should do that job just like pala 💪

Thanks bro! Hey, you will need keybinds if ypu want to be average player 😅 Im not playing on competetive level too but my hunter has around 40 binds. But yes, there are specs with more and less binds. Hmm, i really dont know which healer to tell you, all of them dont have some huge amount of binds for BGS cuz you can just stand and heal couple of spells.(in arena different story). Dps would be Hunter-cuz of range. Its pretty hard class for beginners but if you are only aiming to stay in groups and kill -Hunter is first pick. Everytime you get caught by enemies just use Detterence and leave crowd with Nitroboots. Idk really, all range specs are easy for BGS if you stay near your allies.

Hey bro, i used to play wotlk back in 2012 and all ive been doing then is leveling one class till level 80 and then create another and do the same. So i leveled bunch of different classes and specs, so i learned almost all class spells in game that way. I stopped playing wow for few years and i came back in late 2019 when i started my channel for fun. I was pretty bad back then, but i wasnt pure beginner since i knew at least almost all spels in game which helped me progress much faster in pvp. Today, i dont level my characters cuz i would spent so so much time on gearing eqch character which is apsurd. Now i have each class on Blackrock and all i do is talent changing when i record new videos. Idk what you want to do, but if you planning to have Main character and to play also pve surely i would go with ICC cuz its best way to learn it from 0. If you have little time for WoW and want to have fun in PvP play just Blackrock. Blackrock helps me a lot for my channel cuz it is istant 80 with free gear

If you talk about starting gear without buying any other piece for honor points, you should generally be placed with players up to 5.65k gs. But that different brackets doesnt always work.You will know that by checking your partners gs- If you see someone higer than 5700gs in your team you are surely placed in that higher bracket from 5.6- 6.7k gs where i cant eaither kill anyone. The difference is just too high. But if you are placed with people around your gear, in that case i dont have an answer, you do something wrong 😅

Wow, nice video. So much good speccs, i can not decide. I want a easy class but Strong class. Maybe Ret Pala, Shadow Priest, Moonkin. But I'm afraid they're bad in Arena. Are Ret and Shadow very Good in Arena? Have you a Tip for me?^^

I a really torn between maining DK and warlock for wotlk classic but leaning towards warlock . Is warlock worth it to master for later season 3v3 arena ? I have heard casters excel later on in the seasons and DKs fall off a little in 3.3.5. Or will I just be frustrated the whole time with warlock?

Yeah both are good classes. You need to have in mind that playing lock in arena is really hard, but yes lock is exceptional later. Also, i think that Elemntal shaman is most playable caster in 3s. Im not arena player, so u should ask someone other 😃

There is some major confusion with locks in wotlk, lock is the best caster spec by far in RAIDS. either destro 10 man or affliction 25man. Its very mediocre in pvp, locks got gutted in pvp coming from TBC in addition, your worst enemy warrior got backup with dks and there is that TSG cleave that will tunnel the locks until its lights out. You bascily only can play LSD and the reasion why you can dominate in 3s is ele shaman. However shadowpriest was never better than in wotlk and is the most verstatile and best dotter in the game no matter the bracket, he got higher armor, disarm and dispersion, its mandatory vs bursty melee meta. And why bother with destro, when ele does the same, but better? Same could be said about bgs, when facing MM hunter with full ICC raid gear and armor penetration in the last season.

Forgot to add an advice, better play DK - its the best duel class and has an easy comp to get to rival/duelist(later its more difficult) with TSG. Its a big mistake to play a warlock over a dk in wotlk for pvp reasions, warlock is raid or die. I played both and my memory served me well so far, i do not play at warmane tho, maybe they changed the class balance. However even in weakened 3.3.5. patch DKs are far more powerful when the season is early and casters lack haste.

From what I’ve heard shadow priest also has a hard time but the disarm and stuns seems like they would help . I am actually torn between lock and priest right now so that is helpful .

Nah im just decent in every class. If you have game knowledge you just change spec after spec because you just adapt new spells, you know base of pvp. 😄 I dont choose specs, i had to try every spec because of my channel 😂

Yeah bro, its most populated private server. There are 3 different realms and all 3 are crossrealms in PvP which means u are playing Arenas and Bgs with all ppl around the server, which insanly impact on queue

Arms Warr, Sub Rogue, Enh Sham, Demo Lock. I might main arms. Idk how far I'll take Sub. Enh&Demo are alts.

Tried it with around 6k gs, but i had a lot of arp which is useless, dmg was beyond average. Im playing atm in Furious gear in lower bracket and i love it, but still MM feels much better. Also i didnt say Survival is not viable 😄

Hey, you give such a small insight in each spec. Prot war is S tier in 3v3. And it's worth to mention core hound for BM which spam casting speed reduction debuff, dmg outside of bestial wrath isn't that tragic and you have a build for 2v2 where you play with BW but without exocit pets that allows you to take READINESS which resets your Bestial Wrath too! Great for double dps 2v2 action.

Enough not to pick that spec if you dont want to main it. You have no clue about class that you even think that Readiness resets BW xd...idk why ppl try to turn out smart, bro just dont comment if you dont have experience which you obviously dont

Back in the days and i play since TBC 2007, i heard rumors that demology lock is the best duel caster class, but when did start their duel dominance? Was it right in wotlk with meta? or rather in cata or even MoP? i remember demology beeing really op with chaos wave in rbgs in MoP first pvp season and they were nerfed for that into oblivion. I did not play or look at demology in cataclysm. I have no plans to play a lock AGAIN in wotlk, since i know the class was pretty mediocre in pvp, and one of the best in raids. Thats like playing a rogue in MoP, it makes no sense when youre class it at its lowest and the (warrior) Meta makes you question it. Cataclysm/MoP on the other side.......hmm.........looks promising to play lock in pvp.

i like how more than 1 class is crowned as the best. Even my grandma in her wheelchair is top dps by this guide

I can’t believe this , but I actually decided on the same class I played when Wotlk was released after reviewing all the options again. Priest is the best combination of power and fun. They’re good in every form of PvP, and they’re very much wanted in PvE as well.

30:43 "can't find a single downside to Shadow priest" How about mobility? Spec has zero mobility skills unless you count the movespeed from dispersion. Earlier in the warlock segment you say that affliction is a budget shadow priest, is it really that much worse?

Wotlk is one of the best expansions to play a spriest over an affliction lock for sure, you also got unbreakable will improved inner fire and inner fire glyph that gives much more physical dmg reduction than demon armor + demonic aegies talents, its but yea, you cannot spam fears thats the real downside, in bgs its not really noticable as much as in arenas or when you play with a rogue, when the targets are cced anways at all times. In raids since pve trinkets are so important in pvp i have to mention it, shadowpriest do almost the same dmg as affliction especially early raids like naxx. Other than lack of mobility there is no weakness in wotlk, while affliction is immobile and weak in pvp and can only work vs other casters in duels, while getting gutted by melee and in 3s arena comps like LSD. Since there are so many melees around you better have a high armor class and disarm around with a good def cd to prevent burst.

@@zeusapollo6504 I watched "Kivrus" here on youtube he has a few 1v1 affliction warlock videos up where he duels (in arena) a lot of different classes and seems to win a lot against melee. notably he beats UH DKs, ferals, and ofc sub rogues. He also takes the W against a lot of ranged classes too, also hunters. Not really sure why you think affliction is weak.

@@NibbaiWotlk Ok prepare your butt. Q1 = I need to know the % increase in damage from TBC to Wotlk. For example: Classic to TBC say HP +100%, Damage +50%, and paladin base healing went from 40% for an HoL to 22%. By +50% damage I mean EVERY class got +100% HP but only +50% damage on average. So far investigating TBC >> Wotlk changes there seems to have been another +100% HP and base healing for HoL and FoL are the same as they were in TBC... aka 22% for an HoL and whatever for FoL. Casual observation of pvp seems that there has been a +100% increase in DPS but that would just mean NOTHING has changed since TBC in the grand numbers of things. X damage times 2 X HP times 2 Base healing same ratio Buffed healing same ratio Does that sound about right to you?

For most damage in arena longer fights you can seal dance with Vengeace to get 5 stacks and then go back to Righteousness and switch again to Ven. when stacks are about to expire to renew them. I guess thats the answer or u meant something other?

Also been trying to batman some of your videos for info... why is it that Ret can run up to a target Auto + Judge and Seal of Righteousness is 2x procing? Also wtf is it procing for 7% of targets like damage (aka like 2k). I am scratching my head on this and the only thing I can come up with is that Seals now gain from both ATT power and Sell power and Ret pally is double dipping with their spell power gains from Attack power. Basically I am looking around for seal damage examples and they are hitting WAY harder than TBC or Classic so far. Like 7 % in wrath compared to 5% in TBC and 3-4% in Classic.

There is no place 1 2 3 4 5. There is couple of spec that are better than rest. I would definetely add Mm hunter in this list and maybe exclude Warr

WOTLK Classic Picking guide*

Feral is not at all a "Top pvp spec". It has only one comp (with disc priest) and it's just average. Nothing to compare with rogue, war, mage, etc.

Pvp is not only about arena, still in 2s you can get easily 2.2+ if you are good as feral dp. Feral/hunt is not bad either, but yeah maybe i gone too far with "top"

@@NibbaiWotlk it's amazing in duel and warsong, but it has low damage without top gear, and still low damage outside of burst window. I love this spec tho, but I still remember how everyone thought about it as a joke back in the day, because it's significantly harder to make the same thing as the other classes do, and the result is worse. The power of feral relies on the ability to do everything, especially CC, kiting, etc. Of course you know that but I played it for so many years I felt I had to talk.
