Here at our collision shop. We remove old vinyl wrap from vehicles and the paint underneath is FKD because the adhesive eats its way into the clear coat over time. My advice is to not keep your car wrapped with the same vinyl for too long.

Having just bought a F150 everything was either black, white, off white, or silver. There were a few Anti-matter Blues but not in any package level you would actually want.

I never tinted windows. I've seen it done and watched videos. I wanted 17 windows in my old RV tinted. I was told $1500. Last guy I talked to said, why not do it yourself. I did. It's not perfect but it does the job and cost me materials. Oh, and I'm 60. Don't be afraid to try. Now, would I try this, no.

I paint cars, I’m not the clown that’s going to say cars only get wrapped by people that can’t paint. To paint this truck properly as if it came from ford like that would cost 5X more than this wrap. You can also change the wrap to a different colour. I think it’s cool and it takes a lot of talent to do it right. People just say stupid and ignorant things. This guy does amazing work!

People - do not wrap your cars!! Even the best wraps out there only last 1 year, 2 if you are lucky unless you are getting a protective film / coating. Why spend thousands on something with such a short shelf life. If you are willing to shell out thousands, just get the car painted.

This is completely false information 😂 if the vinyl is installed correctly, maintained correctly it can last far longer than 1-2years. Do not listen to this asshat vinyl wrapping your car is a great cost effective way to change the color and look of the car. A good paint job will run you upwards of 10k a wrap will run you 2500-3 depending on vinyl and finish and area

Ask me how I know.. I blew the paint off of my 99 Ram 1500 with a pressure washer... I imagine that putting a wrap on it had better be a First time perfect go, because you would effectively be able to "unpaint" that truck when you pulled the wrap off to adjust it.
