Love IT!!! Great job! Your personality shines and the bracelet looks fantastic! xx - kate
That was a great video! Love the fact that you made it yourself and you used inexpensive supplies.
OMG! I love this bracelet and I think I will be making one today! You are awesome and I love how you come up with ideas...thanks...
ooooh Very creative! I love how this turned out!
Totally loving this! I saw this picture in you fashion week playlist thingie but the actual video wasn't there so thanks for posting it! Definitely gonna make one!

Wow...i never thought about using leather before..very unique, great tutorial! and I love the colors..
You are really great at explaining! I'm glad I found this video!
LOVE THIS Whitney! What a great idea! I am starting a new job soon, and I need some affordable ways to change up my wardrobe! Thanks so much!
I love this bracelet can't wait to get the supplies
omg amazing! I've been meaning to make something like this for a while and I actually just bought suede lace the other day! Can't wait to get started on this now!
Awesome! Just have to find some leather and I will sure make one! Love your bead colours!
This is so clever! I love the idea of using $1 bracelets instead of buying beads.
This is amazing! I will definitely be doing this sometime in the near future!
WOW, I LOVE IT!!
great video...love the bracelet thank you for sharing your ideas
this is beyond beautiful
Fantastic! This is a great stash buster. I have some random beads left over from other projects, now I know what I'll be doing with them :)
finally! I hav been wanting to see this!!!!!!!
amazing bracelet!!
@xoMsLilie Thanks! Glad you like the bracelet :) I'm really proud of how it turned out since I had never made anything like before.
How cute is that! You could even vary the feel of it by changing the type of cording and beads you use. Imagine black satin cord, metallic silver thread and silver and glass beads. oooh lala.
@ArtsyMouse Yep...the ones I fell in love with were $275-$325 o.O That's half my mortgage payment each month! That's why I was determined to make my own. So glad you liked how it turned out!
i love it!! i wish i had your eyebrows, so pretty
HELLO I'M FROM MEXICO AND TRIED TO DO THAT BRACELET TUTORIAL SUCCEED BUT IN NO UNDERSTAND ... YOURS BUT HELPED ME A LOT! THANK YOU! ♥
i absolutely love this! i am going to try it sometime!!! thanks for doing this video! please keep more videos like this coming!! :)

thanks sooooo much for this tutorial!! My youngest girl so not a kid anymore is 23 but she is our free spirit ..aka my little hippie since forever.... I am going to have to attempt this to see if I can make this for her..if not...I know she will be able to do it!! Love your videos
@graymalking82 Awesome! And it doesn't take as many beads as I showed in the bowls...I had over half of them left. I meant to show the leftovers but forgot to add that clip in at the end. I'd love to see your bracelet when it's done :)
This looks super time-consuming, but the result is lovely! Definitely going to have to try this, thanks for posting the tutorial, Whitney! :)
absoluely a great vid;) girl keep these coming to us and thank u, as i always wanted to make one of these bracelets myself, now i can;) thanks again!!
@ChirpingLlama You can also use suede or waxed cotton cording (found at Hobby Lobby or other craft supply stores). I live in Oklahoma and there are $1 jewelry stores everywhere here. I also know there are similar stores in the neighboring states. You can google things like 'cheap jewelry store' or 'dollar jewelry store' to see if there are any around you.
Yep, you can use suede, pleather, or waxed cotton cording as long as it is thick enough .
I have been wanting to make want of these! TFS, Regan
This is just what I needed! I'm going to make this for my friend's bday. :3 she loves boho/hippie chic. Thank you for the diy video! :D
I really like the boho look. I was using more rounded leather cording. I am going to try it with more of the natural look like you have. Very cool!
Omgi luv u, ur amazing!!!!
@MsZenZhen I did a few on my other channel last year but mostly during the winter...I don't wear anything cute in the winter because I'm so cold nature I just focus on staying warm!
Omg I have loved this style since I was in elementary school but I was never able to afford the pretty clothes. Now Im in high school and nothings stoping me from making this >:3 it is TOO perfect. And btw your eyebrows are jsut fine, you are very very pretty.
FREAKIN AWESOME!!!
@billkaulitzluvagirl Hehe yep...included the pic as a little teaser :) Glad you loved it!
@thisthatwhatev That's awesome! Glad you love how it turned out :) I would love to see a photo!
@MsZenZhen Really? I love wearing natural things like leather, turquoise, and wood jewelry! I don't go all out bohemian...but I mix in bits here and there. Glad you liked the project :)
I really like the elephant charm!
@stormyberetta Awesome! Glad you love how it turned out :) I bet you will ROCK it!
@danzdiva10 Awesome! I'm so glad you like it! Let me know how yours turns out :)
@jennb752 I went throught the last colored bead twice then tied the thread in three knots around some of the other thread. Hope that answered your question :)
I just made my second wrap bracelet, the same as my first one but this one wraps around my wrist 3 times. I love it!! I'll show a picture soon if I can :P
I love your eyebrows
awesome...this is gorgeous :)
thanks for the vid!! this is exactly wat i was looking for!! im making mine now!!! :D
This is so easy! I already made 3 in less than an hour! :) thanks!
Love it, thanks
@gurlygirl347 Glad you like it :) At the end of the video there is links to two videos. The video on the left is one I made and the bracelet is worn in the first styling. All the looks are based around Fall 2011 NYFW runway shows that projected the trends for Spring 2012.
love your scissors!
I'm craft challenged but I'm trying this you made it look super easy!
@vivaDanielle Awesome! Glad you are a fellow dollar store DIYer :) So glad the tutorial was helpful and can't wait to hear how your bracelet turns out!
@PTuinman Awesome! Can't wait to hear how the next one turns out :)
grrrreat video!!! love the bracelet!!!! thank u!!! btw i love your eyes n lips :)
love love thanks!
I've never heard of u before, but now I love you :0
@pakt40 Yes, and I considered buying leather cording...but couldn't find any in the color and length I wanted. So I used what I already had and ended up liking the kinda of rough look of it :)
@MissFredFlinstone You wrap the bracelet around your wrist a few times then slide the button into the loop at the other end :)
i love this! thanks for sharing!! =D
@kittiperry1 Aww thank you so much! I love how bright the colors :)
@SunshineCici1 I'm not sure...I just know there are a TON of those stores around here so I figured they were popping up everywhere else too. If you can't find a $1 jewelry store then try looking at Dollar Tree (or other discount stores) for beads or you can buy beads at an art supply store. Hope that helps :)
I just made my first one, SO EASY!! I didn't findleather for the time but I found kind of a cotton cord that looked like it, it was very thin though. Because it was such thin cord I used small brown wooden beads that I had with an antique gold looking button. I made it just single wrap as a trial, but I'm going to make a longer one soon! Also I don't have any crochet thread left so I'll have to buy more as well as leather and beads I'm planning to buy :P
Ur so talented keep doing a great job

Carol Salas Aww thank you! I hope you subscribe so you don't miss any of my future videos :)
@Actuallie26 About 2 or 3 hours...but I was teaching myself as I made it. So it should take a little less time for someone who has seen this tutorial :) Once you get into the groove it goes really smoothly. Thanks! The elephant came from the jewelry section of Hobby Lobby
@RubyRoseDIY Glad you like the tutorial :) Let me know how yours turns out!
Thaks so much! Glad you like the video :)
that is soo cool
@AllStar628 That's awesome! Let me know how yours turns out :)
@ArtsyMouse It is pretty easy...just very time consuming! That one took me about 3 hours of non-stop work...
This is an easy (but long) and koolio bracelet!!!!!:D and now I HAVE to go make one or my mind will not go to rest!
Aww thank you so much!
@Fancylooks Cool, let me know how yours turns out :) I don't sell these because the bracelet in the video was my first one ever...and it took about 3 straight hours to make. Maybe after things slow down a little I'll make some more and sell them...
Awesome !! . x
Aww thanks so much!
@scrappingtodo Hehe thank you :) I do my best to make every project easy enough for crafters of any skill level!
@DonnaslifePart2 Great idea! Sounds like a really awesome bracelet! :)
@readwriteread There are stores all over around here can '$1 Jewelry and More', 'A Buck Jewelry', '$1 Jewelry Galore', etc. I bought them at one of those stores. You can also find wooden beads at Dollar Tree sometimes or buy packs of beads at a craft store. Hope that helps :)
Love your look
@xquizitetreazurez Thank you! So glad you like it :)
@Fl4dd3rm0uz I just didn't want the thread to show that much so I tried to make the knot blend in with the rest of the 'stitching'. You can knot it with the leather if you want...I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work :)
@PTuinman Thank you! I've seen so many great guy versions of wrap bracelets! Let me know how yours turns out :)
Cute.. You have way more patience than I do!
Aww thank you!
@vennylou Awesome! Glad you love it :)
Thanks!
Love it! is there any reason why you do not knot the crochet thread into the first knot? because depending on the leather it might start to slip - or am I overthinking it too much?
@onebigladybug Glad you like the tutorial :) I'm sure you can make a great bracelet for your daughter and she'll love it!
@TheMrkate Thank you Kate!
I lov the elephant :) it soooo cute
AWESOME!!!!!!!! Want to try this with some old beads i have kept for ages! Why don't you sell these at your Etsy Shop?
@IMakeBoyzJizz Awesome! It's really not that hard. Once you get the first few beads on and get into a groove it's pretty simple...just takes a while.
@EmoraDesigns Awesome! Glad the tutorial could help :)
Any advice for substituting the leather?
@blondeezrbanannaz Yay! Glad you like my channel :)
I was just searching a bit for crochet cotton, but it is hard to find here. I found weaving cotton, does that work too? And do you have some other tips or alternatives for crochet cotton?
