Impressive. One of the most difficult games I’ve ever played. After using the Gambit glitch to get 99 lives, I still ended with around 20.

You are the freaking man!!! I've been playing this since it came out and I'd never imagined this was possible lol.

this game is the nightmare that all true warriors strive for !! grats on your run even if 2 years late cheers :) can we talk more about the Juggernaut level because there is so much to say? wanna hear a long story? I discovered this game back when it came out and Xmen 6 players arcade was also a thing so I was looking foward to play as Wolverine!! I finally played the game at a friends house who rented it, he was a big Xmen fan too. Since the game was hard and challenging, we could not finish game but later on I had another friens who said he was in his way to buy a new snes game and he was not sure what to buy so I went with him and convinced him to buy Spiderman Xmen instead of lost vikings. lol Even with the game available play whenever we wanted, we still could not finish it. we discovered the trick in Gambit stage too for getting extra lives but even with infinite lives... the Juggernaut man... its so haunting hahah. And then, at that time with nonl internet, our only source of info on this game were gaming magazines that we had to hope were about that game or just a magz with some game genie codes to be able to beat it but to no avail...we searched for long years at some places which sold gaming magz we could not find any codes for this game, at that time..we were so desperate to beat it too!!. I know now that there is a thing about Juggernauts Hp but I still find it interesting that even if you do your best, i mean trying to land as many ankvil on him and clawing him in between shots...still cant beat it the hard way. noooo i dont want to jump in that big yellow net noooooo hahahahaha even then.. this game was super hard fornthe other stages too but not knowing the trick to beat Juggernaut is really something. Thank you for playing the best nostalgic Xmen game which includes Spiderman. Thanks for letting me express my best memories of this game. I love the ost and listen to it every now and then. Scott Summers also known as Cyclops.

Omg the part at 21:50 is so unfair

I can’t believe what I just saw. That Wolverine level…I never finished the 2nd one but I still liked it.😄 Cyclops and Gambit was just too hard🤪

In this run I didn't get the strat right, so you can actually kill him much quicker. Our primary objective is to obtain the large ruby, which not only provides a substantial increase in HP but also doubles the power of our optic blasts. The boost wears off after shooting a couple of times, so we save some shots for the boss, the sentinel, who has 127HP. The first shot at him deals 24 damage and 54 when boosted. After that, it will only deal 2 damage. The following shots must be done right after the sentinel lifts his arm.

They misunderstood the genre.

I've played Wolverine's 2nd level probably 1000 times since I was 14. I have dropped every single anvil on Juggarnaut's head, I have punched and clawed him through the whole level and still have not managed to beat that level. How in the hell did you beat that level without dropping that many anvils and barely punching Juggernaut? It makes no sense.

Juggernaut begins with 32HP. Hitting him on the head with an anvil does 4 damage, while the 1 ton weights do 2 damage. Claws do 1 damage, but contrary to common belief, it will only do so at the end of the level. Worse yet, his health can't go below 2HP until you can use your claws. As such, I reduce his health to 2HP while leading him to the end of the level as fast as possible.

​@@chris_speedruns9091Hi again lol its me from the other wall of text which maybe I would not have wrote if i saw that comment first. funny i was sure i read them all before commenting but even with the explanation it is so confusing that even if you land more hits than required, like landing anvils on his head as much as possible and claw him at the end, i could not beat him. He really felt UNSTOPPABLE !! grats again for the WR 🎉🎉🎉
