When you add up all the resistances collected by pilot skills, armadillo, and charged repair amp this thing gets near 400 defense points by the end of the match which equals to a whopping 80% damage resistance. Even the Skyros in ball mode has 85% resistance. Too bad it can be mitigated by reaper, gauss and titan weapons though. But normal weapons would just tickle this Shell at that point. One of my recent favorite drones Armadillo keeps surprising us.

Shell is one of my favorite robots. It's combination of exceptional speed, damaging explosion, decent firepower, and high durability has really allowed it to stay relevant to semi-relevant for a long time. There's also very little that is as fun as running into a group of reds yelling, "INCOMIIIIINGGGG!"

Use kestrel get additional 40% more speed and on top of that.There is a turret that gives you 9% more speed for 15 sec

Shell is a fun bot to play. I always run engine expert too for the extra speed. It really can hold it's own and it's a pretty old bot now. I always like to change things up because it can get boring running the same bots again and again. Shell is one I'll throw in quite often along with Ravana and Demeter.

I think ultimate avenger plus ultimate blaze and linda cano pilot with armadillo was a good choice for the shell because the robot is a brawler type and sort of a tank

Most oftenly, Shell underperforms these days, given the numerous things and weapons that just bipass his shields, but this one, is the exception that proves the rule, wouldn't wanna be on the recieving end that Shell!

I think angler might be better due to the higher firepower and phase shift. Also much higher hp.

Angler performs better indeed, but I prefer the fast and dynamic playstyle of Shell more.

I use Tompkins shell but I have noticed something has been changed. Tompkins shell ability used to cause lockdown now it just causes suppression. I get a dev trying to keep people exploring their game but pixonic has been straight up gaslighting players into rebuilding their entire hanger from scratch over and over again.
