Would you say Rook deserves a nerf? I don't have one and haven't touched the game in a while, but if it deserves a nerf let it be a rotation speed nerf. Make it rotate as slowly as needed for it to become balanced. Or, each of those shields have a chance to fail to materialize if the Rook is moving at all while they are being teleported... idk, those are some "pro-realism" possibilities, so to speak. Much more tactically interesting than the usual lazy number changes (HP, speed, etc).

@@thenthtinkerer7635 Yeah I think rook needs a serious nerf, just like aether did. I kind of dont like how pixonic is doing the titan metas going forward. Basically one titan is the end all be all for a few months and then gets nerfed into oblivion. It's how it was with Aether and how it will be with rook. I think that slow turn speed would just be real annoying, maybe reduce the turn speed only for like 10 seconds after using the heal ability?

​@@thenthtinkerer7635in the case of the rook, I do think some of the basic things need to be nerfed (sheild hp, amount of healing, no sheild down time, and sheild replacement cool down, and no suppression.) But I do get what your saying, sometimes nerf don't always have to be directed towards hp, speed and cooldowns.

I thought kinetic weapons did double dmg to physical shield

Stake isn't listed as a kinetic weapon.

The Rook is like a combination of Arthur, Minos, and Luchador, it's just to much

this is a true example of pigonix creating a button masher environment this titan has everything a no skill player needs. the replacement titan after rooks nerf will have to have 4 million shield HP and 4 alfa slots and a host of special abilities.... good job pigonix.

That's on my to do list.

Using a weapon that can pass through the physical shield like explosive type weapon is also a good choice since do direct damage to the titan, but the regen plus grey damage resist make it more sustainable is kinda difficult, especially in the lower league, im at expert 3 and sometimes meet from master and once met from champions league, it's instant wreck, especially if they had rook.

Now I wonder if shell has the same thing. I thought that since it is rear shields it wouldn't make much sense of having tough shields on your back, since the only two ROBOTS (important, not titans, just bots) that can shoot independently from their chassis are Imugi and Skyros (since their platforms are a bit separate), but I wasn't expecting them to have such a difference in durability. I was thinking that 2 shots less. I guess teamwork makes a dreamwork

The frontal shields are strongest and the sides are second.

Rook have a lot of weakness, rockets or blast weapons can get through physical shields. Kisten,oxy,and missile racks on those titans can deal a lot of damage, that's why nowadays many people are using sharanga with kisten especially with the nukeArook event

2 reasons Your underleveled. If your not underleveled you need titan repair amps to survive in a luchador, atleast in champion league. OR Evora/veyron I mean just look at that luchador at 6:25. The Heimdall is reloading and only the rook is firing at the luch. Died instantly. Some strategy is to just be careful of where you jump to and only use ultimate defense when you are taking heavy damage. If you use it willy nilly, they are just going to wait it out and you'll die. In Beacon rush you should try protecting beacons the enemy is trying to snipe and attacking their beacons yourself. If the enemy titan is vastly stronger than your, try to avoid them or team up against them with your teammates titan. You should be fine against most robots. Basically strategic planning and situational awareness is key.

Can anyone tell me that did the defence point make the shield stronger.(For example, the shell shield in MK3 is 1,140,954.and the shell have 50 defence point from the battle born.Does the shell shield have a bonus 33%)

Nope defense points don't affect shield HP.

Wait isn't stake a kinetic weapon? Doesn't it deal increased damage against 0hysocal shields?

In fact it's the back shields, there is 2 back shields but if you split in 2 , it's 336,000 hp Rook has to turn when one of its shield is broken whereas the frontal one doesn't need to be rotated

Aygir, you do have to account the fact that physical weapons do 2x damage to physical shields so it is a bit misleading

Way more shield HP than I expected. Given that they can be regenrated in 4 second, these shields definitely need a nerf.

I hope after the nerf all shield durability together will be less than 1 front shield. This titan should be nerfed to the ground

I know people are in a rush but let's support more creative nerfs instead. Like, the more shields remain on the Rook, the less high it can launch due to the weight, and maybe it's about time we get a module that blocks teleportation in a radius around your robot...

Why ask for removing a bot when you can instead ask for a cool nerf. For example, here's my idea: the more shields remain on the Rook, the more slowly it rotates and also the less high it can launch, due to the weight of those shields 🙂 Of course, Pixonic is lazy and would rather nerf its HP by half since that only requires changing 1 number, very easy. And on the other hand, since they are running out of ideas, they start forcing ever sillier robots such as the flying snake. This is why the game keeps declining.

@@thenthtinkerer7635 And that's why I ask why they add new robots and weapons, when it just ruins the game more and more. If they just ended up with ares, hawk or scorpion the game would be better. They could add maps instead of new bots. Or it would be enough to add one robot and one or two weapons in 3 months. There is no need to have a new event every month with a new robot, titan, weapons, pilots, etc. For example, they could create a new event, something in the style of looking into the past, and give us the opportunity to win weapons that can either be made in the workshop (but it takes a very long time) or even can only be bought for real money.

@@mr.crappy213 The reason they keep adding new stuff is because big spenders don't care about quality as much as about quantity, unfortunately. Or perhaps many big spenders don't think at all and simply drop money on the newest thing, whatever it may be. And since they don't think much, they don't care about aesthetics, bugs, and balance unless it perceptibly hurts the newest thing they spent for. For a long while I have suggested that Pixonic should better monetize power cells to minimize the need to rush new silly bots/weapons. When they removed the power cell cost for deploying drones back then, I facepalmed pretty hard. It seems that only now, after cursing the game with a flying snake and the latest imbalance of Rook & Reaper, they are finally starting to monetize those cells better. Perhaps they may even have the intelligence to nerf Kestrel by simply making it auto-consume cells when it activates death mark. Hopefully then their next steps would be to balance and improve everything properly, by applying that tactical Rook nerf I suggested, undoing the Orkan nerf, undoing the acid-thrower nerf, letting all bots unlock 4 module slots, making the "harpoon" weapons actually work like harpoons... but instead they will just keep ruining the game some more, I guess. Maybe that's why they keep making new war robots games: to test how much they can ruin this one before it dies.
