hey I'm looking to get into speedrunning this game and I can't find any information online about this after like an hour looking, but at 13:51 when entering farron keep, there's a jump you do to skip the slow af ladder that I've never seen before. I tested it out a little and was having trouble with consistency. Do you have any tips about this? Congrats on wr

discord.gg/6v5Z63zEQv join the souls speedrun discord for info/asking questions. For the skip, you should probably do the dagger weapon art just before you hit the ground. I'm doing it a different way with a roll, but it requires specific binds and most people find it harder

It is a good question, i am doing it because the rules of this category allow it. One could say that it isn't a glitch because you're just in a place where the princes AI can't detect you. In my opinion it shouldn't be allowed but it is what it is

yeah, very doable. Also, there's a new strat to drop down to gravetender that saves about 30s that i didn't do in this run.

damage is pretty much capped at that point already, not worth the time leveling

i find it surprising that using maybe 7? seconds at 1:25:30 to level dmg isnt faster but i guess the amount of damage cant make up those 6-7 seconds?

you barely get any damage from more dex levels at this point, it's not worth

what does spamming the sword in your inventory do?

It regenerates health, Anri's Straight Sword heals 1 health per second while it's equipped, but the first health restored ticks instantly the moment it's equipped, therefore you can quickly unequip and reequip the weapon to regenerate your health faster.

@@layla8867 I guess that explains the immunity from fall damage, it was all just an illusion, everyone. They didn't use spook, nor is air rolling an intended mechanic. This 'glitchless' run is anything but
