How worthy do you find Otto?

I think otto is useful for the plasma weapons. But use anything else for the radiation weapons.

I like it a lot. It's all about play style. Otto is a win! I have six maxed magnums and 4 maxed ardent spears. On Dagon, it is invincible. Just melts bots. High level Champion.

I 100% agree with the video, on all 600m plasma weapons is barely noticeable the change with Otto and when i tried it was disappointing, same as reddemer and taran, but when i tried a Blitz full Magnum and otto pilot that was brutal, same for spears

otto is actually great on radiation weapons dawg, the decay crisis with otto fuckin shreds cause it allows you to get all 3 bursts in one ability use, but without it you only manage to land 2 bursts but on anything other than the decay crisis, i agree but imo its only good on the decay crisis

Otto is only and only good not great for rads. You speak with words and i speak with facts. There is only 300 milliseconds difference between unload time with and without otto. Rads with otto unload time: 2.1sec Rads without Otto unload time: 2.4 sec And the crisis ability lasts 3 sec. So your point with crisis ability sync doesn’t make any sense. Crisis gintare pilot would boost the damage slightly better

It’s not an illusion… For sure, naked it don’t change that much but just put on an nuclear amp and the difference is already noticeable bigger cuz with the Otto you will have more dps in a shorter time just cuz more shots in the same time… Next to a pilot what gives you more damage it’s in the same range cuz the plus on damage and in the end (when all amps are loaded) you will have more dps over all but next to the other typhoon pilots it’s for sure better in dps like your video shows clearly…

So what you are saying is that Otto's bonus multiplies any other damage bonus, while plain damage bonuses merely add up, so Otto may be better with fully charged Nuclear Amp. Makes sense.

@@thenthtinkerer7635 no, the Otto pilot just do what he should do, it make the firerate faster, no direct damage boost… But fasten then firerate also means that the reload comes faster too and that is the point where the indirect damage boost kicks in and the longer the bot is on the battlefield the more damage boost (in form of dps) you get cuz after a minute you got 10 shots more in, after 2 minutes 20 shots and so on (just example numbers for better understanding)… And that is the point where the Otto isn’t an illusion, the best example for that are the magnums that just have a one shot clip, with that just the reload get boosted thanks to the Otto and the magnums are with that the weapons which profits the most of this feature too cuz it shorten just the reload to a level where those weapons are even dangerous for maxed players on builds with bots like Dagon or Angler… They are still not overpowered with that but they get noticeable better at least to a level where they could work again with the right setups…

@@AYGIR yeah and don’t get me wrong, you are not that wrong when we came to the weapons where the Otto pilot was made for (decay family) cuz they already have a crazy short reload with just 3 seconds and an already very high firerate, there it makes for real not a so big difference, that’s completely right… But on the older plasma weapons the pilot is a real gamechanger, that put the old plasma weapons at least to the level where the way newer decay family is… So when we just talk about decay family you are more right but cuz you talk about all weapons which get a boost then we must correct this a little bit especially when we see further damage boosts that you could setup with this… For example an typhoon/taran build with 2 nucs, all damage boosts from pilot, damage and Defence from drone, that’s still a crazy dangerous setup you better should not underestimate, same for a crisis/behemoth redeemer build, with Otto those builds can really goes nuts and kick some serious asses like some of the other creators shows regularly in there videos like predetor or Adrian…

@AYGIR i think it could be a really great video comparing the new magnetic weapons with the rads, i have been doing some test on my own and i am sure you will finde yhe results interesting. Love your videos, keep it up!!

AYGIR you must understand now The next update it will release a drone the solar one and the perfect build along with it is the volt dagon mainly because since volt weapons have long ranges it will pass by the defense and deal 20% more damage with it getting another shield on top of that. It will become a good build since the only thing it seems like that can get passed its shields are (shieldbreak and titans (maybe.) With your skill on a sniper map i know you can delete the lobby

with the Otto pilot you charge the amps faster, another thing about the dagon, I don't think daredevil is the best choice, if you got that skill on your pilot the shield on the dagon will last 1 second or less the damage output is restricted it doesn't stacks infinitely

May we please consider the various timings and windows that we have to shoot our enemies with guns in this game. With Otto we may gain slight advantage on such timings like over peeking an enemy and getting them without their notice or capability to prevent it. It's practically impossible to test this but I thought that it should be mentioned.

Gameplay Highlights: 5:05 --> Footage of 600 meter build stomping 100 meter build by preemptively walking out of its range _just enough_ to make the latter's user break their phone (or keyboard). 5:51 --> Footage of Imugi _nearly_ putting the main thing that makes it unique to good use. Thanks for the tests too, it's one of those minor cases of Pixonic omitting info to keep players in the dark. But the cases add up...

I don't have the Pathfinder pilot so I use mine with otto with Hazards. I think it has a bit of sinergy there because you need to ditch out damage as quickly as you can with the Pathfinder. I would 100% use pathfinder pilot if I had though. Typhon is a bit similar to that, you need to make use of your lockdown, so River is clearly the best option

Otto is good only for magnum and spear. They have one energy blast per shot, so he reduces firing interval. But it doesn't work for Hazards, tarans, etcetera. Interval between 3 round bursts remains the same

Quite an insubstantial difference on anything except Spear and Magnum. Otto was made primarily for those two weapons I believe since Spear was released shortly after he was added.

I've been using river chase on my champion Typhon I got from a past event with skin. And still play Typhon til this very day. 😊 I use Duncan pilot whenever I use havocs on my Typhon with ghost if I needed to deal with OP tanks or at least get them down to 30% health before my Typhon explodes. Ottoe I use on my khepri with magnums. Spears are okay but I like magnums for the fun and rapid fire shot sound.

I use Duncan on my Typhon. The only build I've ever used Otto with is Spear Khepri.

Maybe try with daredevil skill for Otto? you get the faster fire rate plus the increased damage. not as much as the River Chase bust still more than Adrian. I don't think the Typhon ability is that useful most of the time. But I would definitely suggest otto with daredevil on the Dagon.

The only problem is that otto is for specific weapons when generic pilots work for all weapons I would just say that it is worth only for plasma and spear because radiation weapons already fires fast

can you do a magnum vs spear with otto comparison?

I noticed this when i built my khepri otto build. Showed even more with the dagon build. Works well with magnums, not a fan of spears. Love the radiation weapons, but otto isny worth it with them.

That combo really isn't good. Even an Adrian Chong pilot would be better due to it bosting both weapons.

I honestly believe Otto is good for redeemer since it does take a while for it's clip to unload. Same goes fir Tarans.

I don't think it's actually that bad for the radiation weapons. I still agree with you overall but still. The weapons already have a quick burst quick reload cycle, having a even faster burst is awesome. And I realize that the problem is just how much faster the burst is with the pilot than without, because yes, it's not that big of a difference. However, something to consider is the fact that the otto pilot affects the burst speed rather than the pilot just giving you a 10% damage boost with these weapons or something. And that's a big deal because it means there are more shots leaving the drum per some amount of time, more shots per minute. And what if there's a damage boost running for those weapons with the pilot? They synergize. What I'm meaning is that the pilot affects the firepower of the rad weps in a different way, and because of that having any damage boost on top of that, pilot skills and nuke amp, and the fact that those weapons increase in damage after every shot will bring the overall firepower to an new level.

Its not bad by any means but it won’t make extraordinary gains either for rads. Decay/Blight/Hazard with Otto unload+reload cycle is 5.1 secs Decay/Blight/Hazard without Otto unload+reload cycle is 5.4 secs Difference is 5.8% Otto would unload 11 clips in 59,4 seconds and without it, it would be 56,1. Stacking otto with damage boosts is something I should test for more reference.

Otto is used to empty your clip faster and reload faster, which can let you steal kills more often. Something a lot of people like to do to charge their motherships faster. I'm not saying you're wrong, so don't hate on me

I remember at one point, otto pilot was for the harpoon weapons. Before it was changed to radiation weapons. I know because I used the otto with the harpoon weapons.

No, it was never intended to work with those. In fact Otto was released several months prior to Harpoons. Perhaps on release they were bugged and worked with Otto, but Otto was never made for Harpoons. You mentioned you had footage, feel free to share because you've piqued my interest now.

This test is about the effectiveness of the pilot. In this case the test is flawed. Rivers ability is to increase damage after use of typhon ability. Since the test did not satisfy the condition for activating rivers skill it is invalid. The other two have passive skills applied automatically. Only rivers ability requires activation.
