Thanks WV!
I'm such a WPL fan now, especially after driving the C24. Excellent work there! As far as capabilities goes, these WPL crawlers punch above their weight class for sure, especially for the price!

@@ReadytoRunRC you're right, they do have almost their own little rc subculture. I was blown away to see all the parts supply and upgrades available. To be honest, my review of the C24-1 was my very first crawler ever and even with my lack of crawler experience, it was so much more capable than I expected, I was just blown away and totally into crawlers now.

@@Rek_Rc my first crawler was the SCX24 and that had me hooked. I never thought I could have so much fun going so slow. I’m on a couple Facebook wpl pages and some of the builds you see on there are incredible. People really have a great imagination. I went LCG because I would really like to conquer the dam with it and I also don’t see as many of those on KZread but I really want to get a C24 and do a more scale build with it. Glad you’re enjoying your C24 and I can’t wait to see what you do with it if you decide to do a build on it.

@@ReadytoRunRC those are cool, I actually nearly bought an SCX before I saw the WPL and got curious about it.
if you want the w/base more longer, you can extend it by using the wpl metal linkage at the rear. the w/base should be at 260mm..80mm droop shock front & rear and it work great too😊
Earlier tonight while looking on Amazon for FCX24 upgrades, I kept seeing the WPL C14 pop up. Which prompted me to see if there were any reviews on youtube. I picked 1 video and now have watched ALL your vids tonight watching the whole transformation and am impressed of how much was able to be done and all the changes. Usually people will put up a vid on a cheap rc and basically say yeah its cheap there ya go....But you pushed it further showing the capability of what can be done. Even with all the upgrades you're still cheaper investment than what you'd have to put into an Axial or FCX as far as I can tell. I just might have to do this LCG build...Thank you for the build series. Crawler On Dude!!!!

There's so much that can be done with these, whether you go as extreme as I did or want to build a more scale crawler. I'm glad you came across my videos and enjoyed them. Thanks for checking them out. Good luck with your build if you decide to go that way. Crawler on!
Your wpl come out really awesome my friend! Look cooler with the trimmed body & more stable when crawling the rocks! You've got fun place for rc crawling too😁👍🏼

Makes me wanna try one of these!! Such simple looking little layout. Get rid of everything alway as lol!! Unless you want a scale rig chop and chop!! Man great work huge sub
@ReadytoRunRC

It is quite simple. I’m doing more chopping on it because I put bigger tires on and they hit the hood when I turn. Thanks for the sub. I should be uploading a video with more updates soon.

I’m thinking my ultimate lifted wpl was a failure, so I’m thinking about doing something like this.. it’s got portals, and wide deep dish aluminum slots so I wouldn’t have to cut the body like that.. now ya got me thinking 🤔

That came out really good. I thought it would climb the dam better but like you said it needs better tires

Thanks! And I have been looking at the RC4WD rock creepers to put on this. They’re just a little bigger and should offer a lot more grip. We will find out in the future.

Thats awesome build bro,great job i love redcat ascent fusion i ve seen it on KZread one of the best RTR but too expensive for me i dont have enough funds for it, but you're work looks possible to me but im a newbie here i started last week ago

Would it be possible for that build to be more stable downhill by having a dragbrake? If ever what would be the best upgrades, tnx a lot, im waiting all my parts ordered online inspired by your awesome build 😊

How about portal axle?)))
@ReadytoRunRC
6 ай бұрын
Portal axles raise the center of gravity which does the opposite of what I'm trying to accomplish by having the lowest center of gravity possible.
it can take the dam if you approach it in angle
@ReadytoRunRC

It can not. It doesn't grip no matter what angle you go.
