What I like in this kind of transformation is the problems of adaptation that come as you go along and that you have to look for solutions and I see that I am not the only one to like this work 😁 Your work is really perfect and the result is awesome. Really a nice C14, bravo Holly 👏

Thanks Lou. The MN chassis has a slightly longer wheelbase than the WPL C-series chassis. You can get away with the difference with this WPL C14 body, but you'd have to make the rear links longer to use the C24, C24-1 and C54 bodies because of their rear wheel arches.

Yes the full metal WPL/MNs have a very metallic resonance to them.

Thank you very much. Personally I wouldn't bother with the WPL RTR's but the WPL KM kits are good value for money. They're never going to be an Axial crawler but they perform well on the trails.

Hi Mark. Thank you very much. I was going to buy the red C24 pick up bed for it as well so I could change it around now and again. But when I was comparing it with my C24-1KM I noticed the MN wheelbase was a bit longer so the arches would be slightly off centre. But as you say, it looks great with the C14 "Truggy" set up.

Thank you very much Julian. WPL body sets are very nice. I was pleasantly surprised with this one. The colour is a deeper red than it looks on the WPL website, and doesn't look as plasticy as I expected.

Nice, lot of bling. But all that metal is a lot of weight added.

How did you set up the suspension arms? Did you measure them against the stock arms? Did you threadlock them?

Hi. The chassis was bought pre built by the previous owner, who also put the WPL C14 body on it. The wheelbase on this MN chassis is slightly longer than the WPL C14 and C24 chassis. I tried a C24 pick up body on it but the rear arches didn't line up very well with the rear wheels. This doesn't matter with the C14 body because of its flat bed on the rear. Regarding threadlock it's always advisable to use a tiny drop of blue threadlock on a metal screw or bolt if you're screwing it into a metal thread, but don't over tighten it, and try not to get any on the plastic parts. They don't like it.
