    Woz was right, it started out as "fun" and Steve let his pursuit of perfecting his vision consume him. He isolated himself within his work to the point when Woz came to tell him he's leaving Steve tried to brush him off. Woz leaving really hit home for Steve because he knew Woz was right.....dispite the fame and the money, he really was all alone

    Woz was right, but Steve's consuming vision did lead to something positive. It wasn't positive for their relationship, but it was positive for technology.

    Rest of the movie was pretty bad especially compared to 2015 Micheal Fassbender Version(though not as historically accurate but this took liberties as well). But this scene was pretty good And easily the best in the film. And the guy playing Woz did a surprisingly good job here and Ashton was the best here but then again that’s mostly cause he barely talked here…as soon as he opens his mouth in the car it goes back to normal.

    YxVm So the comment is a joke (albeit grounded on some truth, as with a lot of comedy) and after having done my research I can respect Jobs as a business leader (saving Apple from bankruptcy in the 90s, having an eye for design, knowing great marketing, etc.) but nothing more. Anyone equating him with Tesla, or Einstein, or even modern science geniuses like Bill Gates or Elon Musk (who actually invent a lot of their companies’ products) is joking themselves.

    It’s really sad when Woz says “It doesn’t end well for you”, because… he was right. Despite making so many beautiful creations come into existence, Steve’s life wasn’t a happy one… he was always a very troubled person… and his life ended so abruptly too. His creations do live on, but they just are not the same as they once were… with every Mac after 2012 proving to be just that… never the same again…

    And without that the world of computers and smartphone will not be the same... remember it's because of him we got so many fonts (because he took course about calligraphy and writing) in computers and he give a chance to Xerox Technology... it is what people thought "insane ideas" that made Apple an innovative and design company... Woz was the brain, but that's it... with only him Apple will never exist in the first place, he was not a creative and a business man, the duo worked together and Woz made a great product, but the bootstrap was Markulla and Jobs was the igniter, but at the end Woz was not vital with the vision of Jobs, the company is way better without an engineer vision like end 80 and the 90's until 98... when they tried to copy IBM machines...

    Woz seriously needs to be rewarded 100K shares of Apple now for what him and Jobs started. APPLE nearing 3T market cap is so mind boggling. And, credit only goes to woz for creating something out of time pass was seen as an opportunity by jobs to turn it into a powerhouse tech company ever.

  • @floofy5529

    @floofy5529

    $3T had nothing to do with Woz. Woz made the company possible to begin with, but Jobs made it an empire to what it is today. Apple would've never made it passed the Apple II if Woz was in charge. Computers were commoditized in the 90s and onward. With nothing special, they would've went bankrupt. With Job's branding, and innovation, he made Apple what it is today starting with the failed Mac, but then succeeding with the iMacs, iPod, iPhone, iPad, leading to the $3T market cap you're referring to today.

    Josh Gad's doing his job well. Ashton Kutcher still feels like Ashton Kutcher. I think Ashton might've been passable in a stage adaptation, with distance from the audience, but here, man, the camera captures so much, and it doesn't see in your face what it did see in Michael Fassbender. You look like Ashton Kutcher playing a role that resembles Steve Jobs' life. But you really don't feel like Steve Jobs. And that's not all on you. This movie was sloppy in its direction and writing and editing, just a hodgepodge that was built on top of one photo of a young Steve Jobs where someone somewhere said, "heyyy he kinna looks like Ashon Kucherr" and, well. Here we are.
