It's the King Lear, Hamlet or Lady Macbeth of popular music. The noodle-doodle Alexandra Burke approach robs it of all substance and turns it into gospeloid pop by numbers. If you're not inhabiting the lyrics, you're a performer more than a singer or artist. But life will sort that out.
