1:35 Blizzard funny enough implemented this on purpose as a way to _fix_ a couple certain exploits that relied on getting under the map. It used to be, you'd fall under the map and DC one time, and then you'd log back in falling and then die. You could then normally press the release spirit button and either stay in your zone's spirit healer or be teleported to westfall/barrens mattering your characters position at time of death. They then later removed the ability to press Release Spirit (for a short time) which required u to use the character stuck page, and then eventually changed to the system that exists now with endless dc's. There is a way to circumvent this and still now die after the first or 2nd DC. 2:19 I'd argue against this as contacting Blizzard for this reason (especially funny because I got myself into this state), is what has caused one of the coolest bugs I've seen till this day, one that is impossible unless blizzard manually teleports you. 2:35 I genuinely didn't know that /reload fixed this.. /facepalm 3:10 This is because of Blizzard's very very old netcode. Because of how they initially coded (or last coded) their networking, [which isn't really reasonably possible to change at this point] this will always occur. Because this will always occur, there is ways to manipulate it to your advantage as Archvaldor discussed, but maybe even more than he knows. I have methods on how to abuse their netcode with a special tool in order to do various things in game including basically guaranteeing wins in battlegrounds that make your characters essentially invincible and invisible throughout the entirety of the match. 4:28 / 6:35 Some of the most frustrating things in the game mentioned right there. Thank you for triggering my PTSD. 7:06 This is one of the most annoying things and I actually have still an exploit that I can force other people into this state. It's an annoying process to perform but can be used to grief / annoy a lot of people and put them into this state indefinitely even after disconnection. It's very powerful and I haven't shared it publicly yet because I don't know the full extent of what is possible with it. 7:44 Very Outdated now (so pls don't give me money) but on my Patreon in the past I had a handful of abilities/items that did exactly this. There's actually a specific line of code that blizzard has to put in to abilities/items that causes this. They do it ever now and then, and if they ever add it to abilities, I use it to run rampant over the Rated Battleground scene, it's very fun but usually is patched very quickly. 8:30 I hate the direction Blizzard has taken especially since the likelihood I ever get a job with them is a pipe dream at this point, even with my credentials, but they've just pushed everything towards automation. I think eventually we will get to a point where all of the WoW games will just be bug/exploit stricken and exploiters/hackers will run rampant over it's environment. WoW had the chance to be a near flawless game but they decided to no longer want to put the time into fixing everything and it's quality has already began going downhill long ago.

Blizzard's response is to always tell you to reset everything and clear cached data. But by doing that you are likely deleting the data that actually caused the bug -- caching is a common source of bugs. Blizzard programmers have done a good job keeping a 20 year old engine working and able to add new features like MoP remix but it's lazy and bad programming to respond to bugs by telling people to wipe away the data that creates the issue in the first place without investigating. (I have been a software engineer for 15 years.)

Its actually a bizzare trend in gaming where devs try to do as least work as possible, aka min max the laziness

The Infinite disconnect when falling through the world occurs because the character is left online when you are kicked offline. Sometimes you can log onto an alt character on the same server and then it will kick your disconnected character offline. after that you can log back on to the character you wanted to play.

There was a bug in WOD with Worgens and the Reflecting Prism item. You could get worgen textures on human models and Running Wild would cause your character to be sitting in the hands of different models if you grabbed the appearance from Treant or Incarnation: Tree of Life form, or completely lack any running animation in most models because Running Wild wouldn't override your current model. Pretty cool bug that I never heard anyone else talk about.

I actually love the bug where, after phasing/logging, for a bit instead of flying on a mount we are swiming/running in the air. Always good for a laugh. Another old bug is the hunter pet that gets stuck. Usually shifting from areas of diferent hight, or there's a tiny micro barrier. Pet stays behind, never comes to you or attacks because "no line of sight". In every ocasion, afak the only solution is to dismiss/summon pet.

I love that when you make videos like this you bring light to real issues. I'm tired of seeing other youtubers hating on WoW for criticism that isn't there. I feel big youtubers like Asmongold have really fallen off when they start hating on WoW for every aspect of the game -- there are plenty of issues in WoW that could be brought to light (e.g this video) however they will sit and whine about non issues. Been subbed to your patreon for awhile now, and I love these videos! Love the honesty, but also love that you seem to have passion for the game as well, you're not hating to be a hater, you genuinely want to see the game thrive like so many of us actual fans of the game.

The infinite disconnect loop was one that got a friend of mine back in our exploit exploration days. We were wandering around the uninstanced Zul'Aman hidden in the oob hills in the Ghostlands, she hopped on a Darkmoon carousel (I'm dating myself here lol) to glitch through one of the invisible walls, dropped through the world and ended up in eternal disconnect limbo. Lost her character completely and Blizzard was about as helpful as wearing socks in the snow instead of boots. I stopped exploiting on a character I cared about after that lmao

There is also an ingame unstuck option. Its abit hidden in the support window because some time ago blizzard increased the difficulty to navigate the support window apparently to reduce the flood of tickets because they fired a lot of the support staff especially in europe. I think its a small option in the first support window, right when you open it. You have to scroll down abit to find it. All you have to do is log in to another toon and use the option. I used it to get my toons unstuck after the guild bank bug a few months ago that made toons unusable after interacting with the guild bank.

The only thing I missed was you riding a bug/skitterer mount. Or that classic qiraji war tank. Imagine owning it, oh the prestige... ❤ (I don't have it!)

I really want to see Archvaldor try Ashes of Creation when it comes out. I saw a video on how they are going to use server meshing to keep everyone in the same game world at the same time, adjusting servers to control areas based on how many players are in that area, but everyone can still see each other outside of that server if they are in vision range. I so think there are going to be so many exploits available in this game even just starting at the simple ones of dragging NPC followers into zones there are not meant to go into.

could you try collecting the floating dreamsurge balls with the intentional lag, sometimes i fly through one and it triggers like 10 times. also the orbital bronze on remix, if you fly through one that borders 2 zones the slight lag that happens when you phase into a new zone can make it trigger an extra 2-10 times, would be nice if you could do that more intentionally

1:40 sad, but true. I got stuck and phased-out on my main. It took 2 weeks with support to resolve it.

Comment section nugget of wisdom: Can't find a pandaren woman to sit on your face in Goldshire? Head to MoP Remix and you'll find plenty. ... Oh, helpful for playing the game. ... Can't get into M+ groups? List your own key, and say that you're learning in the title/description. You'll likely get people who will give you a tip or two and don't mind assisting.

I'm not even sure offhand we have so much content in that area...but I'm guessing offhand no-there were a bunch of recent fixes.

Boat bugging during cut-scene in Exiles Reach, if you are affected, your character will be affixed to the "wreck" and you cannot leave. No fix, recreate the char.

1:42 you have to use ticket option to reset character to nearest grave yard. Have had that happen just walking around and useing Monk forward roll

2:25 you just have to stay logged out for 15 minutes and you will automatically be teleported to the next graveyard if that happens

That may have been the case once or in certain zones but I just checked-the character you see trapped in the emerald dream underworld in the video is STILL stuck there as of right now.

Dam combat bug is very annoying lol

I'd love too mate) But this is my job. Turtle woiw can only get so big for obvious reasons-and I don't really want to mess it up too much anyway since I like the devs there.

I have a bug where my raidframes dont load, when I enter a raid. Fix is to enable edit mode and close it. I use Blizzard standard raidframes.

Sad too see a company that used to care for their game and listened to the players, to an automated system cause the CEO's need to add weights to their pockets. Blizzard is the only company that comes to mind for the amount of CEO that "retire", how many they've had step up and down now? 5, 7? And Chris is back, I love the dude, he's done great, but I think he had to come back to pay something off idk. This company has gone full Goblin mode, the greedy kind of Goblin. When my character got stuck in a disconnect loop back in legion I deleted the "WTF" folder in the WoW directory and got unstuck! I hope it still works

Ah that's so simple and brilliant mate:) I know doing that solves a bunch of issues but i didn't know it worked for this gonna try it now.

Legit perma banned last month from farming Bronze in the Thunder Isles Troll area. :^(

An expansion on the questline issues. If you boost a character, expansion specific questlines will most likely be bugged (such as class hall, covenant, etc.) and you will have to send a ticket to blizzard to flag the quests as completed so you can access this content. Not sure if they've fixed this as of late

Much as I would love to do that it isn't a practical business decision for me to devote time to a smaller game which could be shut down quickly. I might do it for fun anyway tho...but there's only so much of that I can do before I starve unfortunately.

@@archvaldor "relatively" is a bit excessive, it has been broken since WoD at least. I remember escaping out of the archimonde fighting arena in HFC and encountering that when messing around. But yeah it can't be that hard to make players spawn at the default graveyard instead of attempting to spawn them in the invalid position that they are. On another note kinda similar note, when jumping from the warrior order hall in legion you'd sometimes use to get disconnected and spawn on a random mountain in the north west of Azsune. I wonder why that is the "default" spawn location for that load trigger.

I do actually have a fix that works for most known bugs, its also another fix to all the bugs you showed here... Close the game, cancel your sub, try something new 😀- Hope it helps!
