Good tuning tips! I do something similar and lean the low and keep idle low and richen the low when I get it running. Cures all my random two stages!

Should of pre heated it to 200 F the tuning would of been alot smoother

No Bottom dead center after every time start up crazy i have that same big red that things eats through plastic spurs so much low end power

Fail safe does nothing for you if ur reciever battery fails the fail safe has to have power to do its job if u loose signal or your remote battery dies it does wat ur looking for but reciever battery fails in any way forget about it another safty tip is to put return springs or bands on ur carb slide full throttle thers crazy vibration nd just a little bit of force from a band will close the carb as long as ur servo isnt glitch locked wide open

no you have failsafe installed in your radio yes but your receiver if the receiver batterie dies your car will run after that you need a spring around your carb to turn it back or failsafe bettweeen the car and receiver

That sucks at least it flipped upside down right away. Just had my first runaway last weekend it went went over two curbs through a playground then into a fence.
