On Twitter, someone pointed out that Fizz has bit of a fear around sharp objects. In the last episode, he flinches when Ozzie pulled out a pair of scissors to cut his sleeve in order to repair his arm. In this episode, we see photos of Fizz and Mammon and one of them had Mammon throwing knives at him. The layers of trauma this man has put on him 😢

He also made Fizz juggle fire and bombs it looks like. And, while Fizz doesn't seem to mind Ozzie's/the Lust ring's blue fire, the green fire in greed still scares him. Mammon was out here just pushing all his trauma buttons for kicks, it seems like.

Mammon: "Women just ain't funny." Then the credits saying "Written by Vivienne Medrano" pops up. Pretty god sight gag, I have to say. Also, I love the scene between Fizz and the boy with the broken horns speaking sign language. Imagine it, Fizz saw himselfin that kid and was his hero, it was so heart warming!

I actually like the idea that Blitz didn't kill the creep in front of the kids and fans who love Fizz and not ruined his evening, he - first - chose to help Fizz with his obvious panic attack, and second - waited until the creep got truly violent and they were alone. Because even if Blitz didn't care for the whole pageant thing, and he disagreed with Fizz about it, he cared that Fizz cared. And also, the fact that Mammon was acting towards Fizz just like Cash once did, and poor Fizz just went from one toxic, manipulative and abusive relationship to another, while still being too scared to leave it, hurts like a ton more. This is an absolutely beautiful episode, and great emotional reaction.

Also Blitz knows how Fizz hates blood since they were children. He probably felt like Fizz didn’t need to see that while he was distressed. Also I love how Blitz was probably the one to call Ozz and tell him that Fizz was breaking down during the twin’s performance, it really shows that he can be a great friend if he puts the effort in!

Fizz's interaction with the kid was even more wholesome when you remember that Fizz is a disabled person too. His accident horribly scarred his body and he is a quadruple amputee. So one of the other ways he felt a connection to the kid was them both having disabilities that makes life more difficult.

I like to imagine that Oliver(deaf kid) may not have even expected that Fizz knew sign language in the first place. But he just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to meet his idol.

My favorite part of this episode is when Fizz reveals is broken horns, showing us how physically and mentally scared Fizz was underneath all the theatrics and clown makeup, wich adds more too his character.

The tease at the beginning was great planting too, Fizz frantically trying to find his cosmetics and seeing just that small grey blotch, giving us the awareness that the white color isn't just from the burnmarks, he's daily applying makeup to minimize the extent of what the accident did to him.

The absolute catharsis in Fizz using an entire musical number to resign is a feeling I wish I could bottle up and take with me everywhere. I really hope this is laying the groundwork for more development between Blitz and Stolas, because there's some incredible parallels to be drawn between some of these characters

I love when she sees a cute gay couple in a show and instantly relates to the dork of the relationship. So adorable.

Fun fact: Fizz has a name sign! I learned this when I took an intro to ASL class in college: some people in the deaf community have special signs that represent them, that other people use instead of finger-spelling out their name with ASL letters. For Fizz, it's the letter F, but against the nose, so it looks like a clown nose being honked. I think that's just the coolest detail!

@@michaelbrowne3088 Oh they knew. They map out the whole season plot first. Then the writers go off and bring back the first/second drafts for all the episodes. Those get fine tuned and signed off on. Then the VAs record each episode. Then the animation teams get to work on an episode which takes several months for each one. Then the music has to be recorded and the sound fx. Then it all has to be mixed and edited together. From start to finish each episode takes 7 to 9 months.

I love how Elijah's shirt says F#CKITY F#CKITY. So fitting with the subject of the song. Cause there's a point (23:49 but it's cut out from the reaction) when Ozzie talks to Mammon and Fizz says "F#ckity f#ckity f#ckity f#ck you~". It's just golden 😆🤣😂

24:03 I don’t remember where I saw someone point this out. But Ozzie is kneeling down here. That has to say something about his height in his full demon form compared to Mammon. 😂

Fun Fact: Fizz and Oz do a lot of head rubbing because that is where Fizz still has feeling left. It is the cutest thing that they do. (I don't officially know if it is true, but it seems to be something we see a lot with them)

Or even bc the fan realized that their idol is a human different from their fantasy. To anyone that has some level of obsession towards a famous person (be it youtuber, kpop/jpop idol, actor, etc): get professional help, seriously. You arent their friend, you dont know who they are. I was thinking he was temporarily deaf from the accident so he had to learn sign language for a while until his hearing recovered. But if he does have hearing aids as well as his cybernetic limbs would also make sense. Hoping this gets explained in the future.

My theory is that since Imps do physically age through infancy, childhood, some form of puberty and reach maturity, early age horn damage can cause permanent hearing damage because their sense of hearing is still developing (they haven'y finished growing) and the damage stops any further development. But in a fully mature Imp, while horn damage does cause hearing loss, whatever internal audio organs they have are fully developed and they usually have a chance to recover their hearing (even if just partially) once their body adjusts to the loss of their horn(s).

Another common theory is that the fire messed up Fizz’s vocal cords and he learn ASL until they healed. Also Fizz still reacts to sounds around him so I don’t think it’s a hearing thing.

My reasoning behind why Blitz didn't shoot that crazy fan the first time around (even though he definitely deserved it) is because he could see that Fizz was obviously distressed and he didn't want to cause a panic by killing someone in a crowded room because that would only overwhelm Fizz even more.

Exactly my thoughts! It was too public, and there were literally kids in the crowd, watching everything happen. Blitzo couldn’t shoot the guy there because it would have caused too much of a scene. So Blitzo did his best to intimidate the guy, and then beat him away, non-lethally. Blitzo was able to shoot the guy later, in the dressing room, because that was more private, away from prying eyes, and the dude was a more immediate threat that time, since he had a knife.

He didn’t want Fizz to become even more upset than he already was in that moment. Given that Blitzo (and the audience) is well aware of Fizzarolli’s aversion to blood, shooting anyone while Fizz is in such a vulnerable state would have only worsened the condition he was already in. As much as the stalker did deserve it, Blitzo instead did the right thing in prioritizing his friend’s well-being.

I love the idea that Fizz learned sign for a variety of reasons. Of course, it's easy to assume he learned sign due to the explosion and how weak his vocal cords were after - he definitely needed coaching to get where he is today - or because the explosion left him deaf for a long while. The episode is perfect. It strengthens the relationship between Ozzie and Fizz, even Blitzo was there for Fizz 😍 The cutest thing I've ever seen is that Fizz can speak sign language for the kid ❤

"You have a weakness in Fizz." was honestly the last thing on my mind when Mammon said Ozzie would regret admitting that he loved Fizzarolli. Putting myself in Lucifer's shoes, who is stated as the "Ring master" of Hell; which was described as a 7 ring circus. Hell is HIS circus. the Sins are HIS performers. He is Pride itself and one of his things just admitted to being "Broken". the BEST scenario is that Lucifer doesn't care enough to intervene on a Sin's behalf. The worst scenario's are Fizz has to go... or Ozzie does... I REALLY hope its just Mammon making threats, I really do, because I want to see a Sin on Sin battle. Greed VS Lust. Mam VS Ozzie. If we get that I will be very happy. But this COULD be a situation where Lucifer needs to step in and deal with his circus not performing as intended. I think that IF Lucifer wanted to get involved the best case would be Ozzie is removed as the Sin of Lust and the love bugs can be happy together forever without titles or duties to keep them apart. But the worst case is Lucifer feels that Ozzie's feelings for Fizz are an attack on Lucifer's pride as the "Ring Master". Just a little thought I had.

I don't think Lucifer would care whether Ozzie has a boyfriend or not. Luci is all about pride, so being against someone taking public pride in their relationships would go against his entire archetype.

Yesterday I watched you Queen Bee Episode because it got recommended to me by YT. You have such a wounderful energy and now I've seen all of your helluva boss reacts. Seeing you light up is so precious and even your background interaction with Mosco is wholes AF.

I know this might make people cry but the reason why fizz and ozzie do head nuzzles is because that’s the only place fizz can feel ozzie since his arms and legs are robotic.

Can we just talk about how Asmodeus' pet name for Fizz is Froggy? That's just way to damn adorable. M&M got some stiff competition in these two. This was an amazingly well written episode with some absolute banger songs. The whole theme of dealing with toxic relationships, and how hard it can be for the one stuck in one to realize they are and get out. It took Asmodeus some heavy lifting to convince Fizz. And Fizz has been through shit on his own without Mammon that has messed him up. "My horny pony." Welp, the rule 34 artists are gonna be busy tonight. Fizz knowing sign language is extremely on character for him. He's a clown, through and through. He lives to make people laugh and feel good. So of course he learned sign language for his deaf fans. Despite the rough exterior, Fizz is a huge softie on the inside. All of them are when you get down to it, but being born in and living in hell gives you a really tough exterior. And they've all got major baggage to get through. So Fizz and Ozzie's song together is so cathartic for Fizz. To know that he doesn't have to be some image of perfection, but is loved for who he is. They are way to cute together. And then Fizz goes out and absolutely pile drives not only the twins, but Mammon himself, in his own house. And Fizz just stands there totally calm in front of him too. And the fact that basically all of hell already knew they were in love and have no problem with it was so satisfying. Take all of mammon's thunder.

Any episode with Fizz and Ozzie I’m already gonna be expecting greatness cause the episodes they show up in tend to be bangers. So far Mammon is the only real evil asshole of the sins so I’m curious about the remaining sins we haven’t seen. Just loving that Ozzie and Fizz are the healthiest couple in hell they are so cute. Music was great this episode especially Ozzie and Fizz’s song.

But yes this episode was sad and very amazing as well,it shows how when some of our idols or heros can be very crappy people and just straight up evil and same with fans as well. This was probably my favorite episode, one because all the songs go hard, (Money can’t buy happiness but it can rent you paradise goes kinda hard) and also Fizzie (Fiz and Oz) makes me happy

also funny how crimson, who lives in the greed ring, called asmodeus the weakest sin in all but when mammon the ruler of hell got face to face with him he used black mail to try and force him to back down and when that didn't work he fled so much for weakest and non threatening of the sins, also also i do hope we see asmodeus punish crimson at some point for kidnapping fizz the lawyer suffered but I think crimson should suffer a bit

Main thing on Crimson is probably that since he's in the Greed Ring, he likely has some general protection courtesy of Mammon. Likely to double down on such now, since Greed and Lust got some clear beef and they are likely to use expendable freelancers to jab at the other.

I used to have a youtube channel a couple years ago, and I only had 50 subscribers, not even remotely known... and yet I still had a couple encounters with weird fans and overhaters. It's a scary place, and I wish that it wasn't, and It took me a while to realize that these types of people unfortunately do like to do creepy things. I'm sorry you've gone through this, but just know I'm not one of those types of fans, and I hope these types of users become less and less over time

Idk if I’m the only one but I saw a lot of comparisons to angel dust and his pimp. Like for one there’s spider webs everywhere! And the whole just dynamic btwn mammon and fizz. Fizz just obeyed even though he was being treated like shit. Plus the anxiety attacks! I relate to this so much too. When fizz took off his hat and was talking about loving him at his worst I burst out sobbing bc it hits home. One of the best episodes in helluva I’ve seen! "It's not weird....YOU'RE weird, you sick fuck!"(points at random imp, everyone looks at him as sus). Every song in this episode is a bop, but "Juggling is Cool"is amazing and "Two Minutes Notice"are on repeat constantly for me. The latter is the greatest song from "Helluva Boss", I agree. Frig's sake, Fizz being freaked out and the kid signing to him and calming him down is adorable enough, but him signing with the kid and his final "Thank you"after his last performance made me tear up. Vizie knows how to make us laugh and cry. The face off between the full demon Ozzie and Mammon is so epic, the coolest demon moment since Stolas coming to save Blitz in "Truth Seekers".

ASL person here! ^^ I completely agree with you We should all be encouraging the use of sign language, not just for those who cannot hear, but to also become more expressive in our communication

Im actually almost fluent in american sign language! I’ve been learning for almost 3 years and Im proud of how far I’ve come. Animating sign seems like it would be tough, but they did it so well and I can tell whoever animated it really knows how sign works because the translations aren’t word for word but a lot of ASL is much more simplified than spoken English. The exact translation (also called gloss) of what they said was “FIZZAROLI (loving his sign name omg it’s the sign for clown but with an F) I MUCH FAN.” “COME” “CLOWN SAME” “IF WANT CAN DO” In the context of the conversation it means the same thing as the captions say, but they used actual ASL grammar for it and it makes me so happy. A lot of shows don’t do that.

I hope Glitz and Glam come back I would like to see them more

Well, Mammon might try using them to tear down Fizz's reputation. Mass marketing campaign, plastering over posters and such. I mean, I know Fizz quit and probably isn't looking to do alot of work after, but it wouldn't surprise me if Mammon was spiteful enough to utterly destroy any residual fame he had.

I cried so much seeing Fizz having a panic attack. I've had that as well so I can relate. I just want to give him a big hug.

This episode was incredible! I tear up every time Fizz interacts with the little deaf imp kid. And when Fizz admits that he feels unworthy of Asmodeus, I feel that too. So much. After seeing your new impsona, a small part of me wants you to appear on Helluva Boss and sing a song. ^^

As a very hard of hearing individual who is working on her degree in American Sign Language and Deaf Studies and has been learning ASL for the better part of a decade, it caught me super off guard to see ASL in an animation like this, let alone to see it done so WELL. I legit almost cried. And then I legit almost cried again when Elijah got so excited and emotional about its inclusion. To me it's one of the most beautiful indicators of a hearing person's heart when they show enthusiasm for sign not just because it's a cool language (which it totally is, let's be real here), but because of the access it brings to people who are D/deaf or HoH. I already adored your vibe, Elijah, and now I love it even more
