I've thought the mum was suss from her first interview where she was failing miserably at trying to look sad, and pretending to cry but without a single tear. What mother of a missing son gets their hair & nails done? Either she knows he's OK or is just a sh!t mum 🤷‍♀️. The new search team from the Netherlands described as a non- profit organisation Signi Zoekhonden the group consists of 5 volunteers and dogs.(Non-profit /Volunteers?) Apparently they contacted Jays family to offer assistance and not Jays family asking them for assistance. Fare enough they need accommodation, flights and essentials food and drink ect, but they can afford more than 10 times that amount of people. Not offering a reward is ridiculous, it the first action I would take personally. Offering a reward for reliable information leading to the safe return or recovery of Jay if unfortunately the worst had happened. I think 100% factual information would start coming in.

The dogs also Signi Search Dogs specializes in searching for drowned persons, following a trail - mantrailing - and missing persons in disaster areas. Apparently they found someone who had been missing 3wks the day after they had been sent in. They are the real deal and know there stuff. I ment the only thing Jay's family need to pay for is there flights, lodgings ect. There not just people off the street.

IF Slater went missing on a volcanic island with hills, ravines, caves, cliffs, tunnels even or in the ocean, how would a team of volunteers who search rivers, flat land or even forests, help ? Today makes the 29th day that Jay Slater has been missing. That is 4 weeks and 1 day of absolutely no sign of what when where how why or who. I am of the belief that Mr slater is either dead or he has been taken far from the area. I lean more towards hes dead and believe that those who were physically with him right before his disappearence know exactly what jappened to him and where he now is.I personally dont believe a single word that has come out of their mouths where Mr slater is concerned. My heart breaks for his parents who are living in a nightmere that they can not ever awake from. In my opinion this is a homicide case and the authorities could care less. Thanks Harsh.

The first time Jays dad spoke on TV,he was asked what was the plan,and he said ask Debbie,shes the one to ask???? If you lost your son, personally I wouldn't want a permanent address/property in that location as it would be too depressing - don't think it would be helpful if trying to eventually "move on" - but at this point in time - can understand wanting to stay on at Tenerife until one has managed to achieved closure about what happened to one's son. If it turns out eventually that Jay is no longer with us on this side of the Threshold - personally think I would find it too painful to set up permanent residence in that area. But perhaps if I was in that situation and if I felt I didn't want to return to UK without son - which might be even more painful and depressing - perhaps staying on is lesser of two evils..and I might feel very differently...

Feel very uncomfortable if they buy a property there with part of the proceeds.They have not been charged anything for their accommodation so far either.

The mum might be missing her son..... But her son is missing.... She's used go fund me contributions to fly to Tenerife but hasn't yet as far as I'm aware go searching anywhere in Tenerife for her missing son.... that's she's really missing.... not being unpleasant just honest

I’m guessing the family aren’t looking to buy a property. The family are from the UK so will only be allowed in the country for 90 days. They will need a long term rental property to gain residency. Allowing them to stay in the country if their search continues past the 90 day period.

one thing ive questioned from the start seeing as cctv is everywhere specially around the area of where nrg was held so why hasnt the clubs footage been seen or the streets near the club, they have an estimated time that he was at the club and when he left the club, the thing is if the people that have left the club with jay then wouldnt they be on the cctv footage, it could narrow things more, on the other hand its been nearly a month and still no sign of the boy, hate to say it but think time has ran out for him

Like I been saying from day one I feel like authorities and possibly community are intimated by a group or specific people . Why else wouldn't they get involved and all hush hush. It's an island so more isolated there. This is all my opinion

Why shouldn't the family have an HQ? Surely, having a long term solution to accommodation is more cost effective than short term solutions. But, the headline shown didn't mention that they were buying a house, or even that they would be paying for a rental property. Authorities will also be able to get in touch with the family easier if they have an HQ. People working in the bars and restaurants will have been told by the police, not to talk to anyone in the press/media about the case. So I'm not surprised they haven't had people come forward. People on the internet, seem to think they are entitled to know everything that is going on in a case that has nothing to do with them.

Ain’t where they are now currently the permanent search HQ? What is the difference between where they are currently and where they are moving to? If it was just about leaving one hotel and going to another then what’s the story?

Why does one need a reward to help find a missing person though..... If one saw the person or had any contact with them, share the info so they can be found before it is too late! Just doesn't make sense so they want to buy a property in Tenerfire where there son went missing ... that would be the last place i would want to buy if my son went missing and his 14 and means everything to me I only have one and would do what ever it takes to find him. No way is it easy to make a purchase in Tenerife. Firstly, realestate is not cheap, not even with 50 thousand. Give me a break. They might find an Airbnb for a long stay, but forget realestate purchase. That is absurd.

This is what makes me think that they're in on it. If he was being held because of the watch, then they'd offer the money for the return of Jay. So are they using it on themselves, or are they making out they're getting a property as a way to wash the money back to them? I'd be looking at who owns the property they're planning to rent. They know whats gone on, and i genuinely believe that because of all the light shone on the case , they know they need to box clever to get the cash out of the go fund me. This is nothing more than my opinion, and as we know, opinions are like @rse holes. Everyone has one, and most of them stink.

To be fair to the parents, this is a newspaper report. How correct have most of them been up until now? It was only one or two days ago that the press started to run with the 14 metre boat theory (which has been out there from week one). Wasn’t the Daily Mail saying Jay’s phone had been found on a small beach that’s virtually impossible to reach on foot? (Hasn’t that report been taken down now?)
