    * Hey Silas ! Busy day in this vid. That Saab Sonnet is rare and becoming highly collectable. Guys are looking for those. Being a fiberglass car it's not much for you so you should show it in vids and somebody will want it. The original ones were two stroke engines then they went to a Ford V4 four stroke which yours appears to be.

Most Saab Sonetts had a much flatter hood. I was a bit shocked at how the hood on this one has a bulge shaped like the one on the '73 Triumph GT6 Mk III which I had in college for a while. In fact, until you showed the rear of it, I wondered if maybe it was a GT6 or a Spitfire with a GT6 hood.. Usually even a Sonett with a hood bulge, has a flatter, wider hood bulge. I did a bit of Googling, and it seems the Triumph-like bulge makes it a 67-69 (or maybe 66) Sonett II V4. Apparently there were 1.5 and 1.7 liter versions of the V4. Those front bumper guards also make it look like a Triumph, compared to how a Sonett normally looks. One thing I read said about 1600 of them were made, I'm not sure if that's US version or worldwide, and one model year or altogether. Prices for nice running ones are high ($18K to 40K) and I even saw one somebody used for an electric conversion.

Those Sonetts can have extremely crispy crunchy rusty chassis. This is ‘69 Sonett 2 in video. . . . I sold my ‘70 Sonett 3 a couple years ago. Solid steel on mine, but I got old and accepted I would never put it together. Had it almost 40 years inside dry garage, disassembled.

The Big ten Chevy pickup has another feature that you overlooked. The one at roughly 20 minutes into your video. See the gas tank on the passenger side with just a cap and no gas door 🚪. Unless it's an addition which it doesn't look like it. See then move them from the passenger side driver side. Rusty are not that side can be hard to find even aftermarket. So a person's going to have to cut that out of their old truck bed and may just want that one and patch it as it is. By the way I need a car with a Saab when I saw it in your thumbnail. There's a lot of buzz about the old saabs currently.

If you noticed, that truck had dual tanks, the switch was on the dash.

It's a Saab "Sonet". That one appears to be from the late 60's. A genuine Oddball...

Any gm square body with a grille with a engine badge in the grille , those grilles are worth a bit of money.
