The second guy singing about it’s okay to cry was probably my favorite verse. Not taking anything away from any of the rest they all hit equally but different, but the line where he said “Jesus wept and brother so can you” knocked me down about twenty notches. Who am I to hold my tears in when Jesus himself didn’t hold his. Puts being a man in a completely different perspective

The message of this song is important for men but just as important for women to understand what a man is going through. Women need to listen to this song and try to understand and it even had 2 women show you what you as a woman should be like when your man is struggling.

It's important for everyone men and women both. It tells women exactly what a man is going through and how they feel but it also gives 2 example of women showing you what as a woman you should be doing for your man. These 2 women are a perfect example of how a woman should be with their man.

Putting 2 women on this remix was brilliant because it gives women 2 perfect examples of how they should be acting with their man. Men are telling their story, their pain, their struggles and the 2 women show women exactly what they should be doing for their man.

That last line about Jesus is why Ben Becker's verse is the most popular. The dude absolutely nailed it and he has such a peaceful mellow singing voice. It's not aggressive how some singers get.

Holy sh-t this is so moving. I LOVED the original but this is way deeper from the different perspectives. That one with, no wonder more men commit su--ide because they already feel dead inside! That broke my heart! I showed the original to my husband, this one will be next.

I loved your reaction. I love the change that can be created if we all share and push this remix. Every artist was amazing with heart wrenching verses but I have to say Atlus. I love the work of lighting, staging, and placement of artists. From beginning to end I was feeling the words. I was a single mom with 2 boys and a girl. I had to do both and it was HARD trying to take on a man's role. The boys need direction and my daughter protection. The weight it soooooo heavy. I worked 2 jobs for 10 years and I look back now and wonder how. I really respect the men who are there and they deserve to know they are worth it, not alone, and change is coming. I believe this song will weaken the barriers. It will be ready for the fearless to push through.

This song relates to single mums like us who had to play both roles of being a Dad and soft as a mum at the same time. It is tough and changes single mums to be tough and hard and cold .

All the verses are incredible, but the verse that starts off "I'm sorry" broke me down. Something that few men sincerely receive but need.

Yes! Dax laid everything out perfectly for a woman to understand. The 2 women in this video are shining examples of what women should be for their man. Women who can't understand that message coming directly from women, are either narcissists incapable of seeing anything but their own selfish ways or just straight up illiterate. This is what likely has saved my life for now. This remix really helped me a father of 5 let loose a good bit of my bottled issues out. Its so hard to bottle everything and keep pushing so hard to give my kids a better childhood than i had to the point at 39 my body is literally falling apart. But i cant stop and got to keep going til i fall. I was taught a man does more and more til he dies to push his family to it potential. If i live to 58 i will beat all men in my family as all have worked themselves to the grave for their family

I really don't know what to feel right now. I'm a 28 year old single man. I'm struggling to understand and come to terms with what my future is going to look like. I recently suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury. I feel broken and damaged because in a way I am. I will likely need to try and find a new job that will work with me to accommodate for my limitations. Beyond work, I feel a sense of hopelessness when it comes to finding a wife, a partner, a soulmate. What woman would want a man with brain damage. What woman will be willing and able to work with me and understand that there are things I will struggle with, that I won't always be able to communicate exactly what is going on in my brain. I'm not an idiot, I'm not dumb, I'm not intentionally ignoring you or forgetting important things. I have brain damage from a stupid car accident. I can't process information very quickly. I can't remember what the doctor told me, some days I can't even remember if I ate and took my medicine. I try to use notes and reminders and checklists, but they only help so much. I think one of the artists said "I Think That I’ll Be Better Off When I’m Not Alive" and boy does that resonate. He also said that he decided "To Give It All That I Can" I need to find that mindset because right now. . . Man, it's not easy. As I look forward I just see a mountain of pain and hardship in front of me.

So a couple things that really stands out to me about this remix are: 1. Men are being given a voice to tell women how much pain their in. How much suffering they go through. How they feel. It's a man telling a woman exactly how they feel and women need to be receptive and listen to understand, not listen to react. Acknowlege and support the fact that your man is opening up and for God sakes don't use that against him in the future argument! 2. The 2 women in this remix are giving women an example of how a woman should react to her man. If her man tells stories like this, voices his feelings, the 2 women in this video are shining example of how women should react. Women should follow the lead of the 2 women in this song as shining examples of what they should do.

Im on board with this song overall but on different reasons. I dont agree with the crying part. yes ofc its ok to cry , but i dont think its good thing to do infront of your close family. Because we like it or not crying is a sign of weakness, and we as providers and protectors need to be strong for our children and women so they can feel safe. I never even tell my girl about financial stuff, she does not need to know if my balance is going to end, i always figure something out and she will never know we even had a problem. But everyone has their own opinion and by no means am i sayin that if you are crying then you are weak, im saying it about myself,ä.
