The singer Bruce Dickenson, it very intelligent, a historian, a champion fencer and a commercial pilot. He used to pilot their jet called Ed Force One. He retired when he turned 65, it's manadatory that pilots retire at 65. He also survived throat cancer years ago and they still tour.

Bruce has done a bucket list 5 times more than anyone could in a life time
Iron Maiden are an English heavy metal band formed in Leyton, East London, in 1975 by bassist and primary songwriter Steve Harris
Awesome band full of world-class musicians, this was a good song to start with. Many consider the Greatest Metal band ever. This is a whole new rabbit hole.
Best live band ever. Formed in 1975 and still killing it to this day.
best singer in the 80's Bruce had the range and the sustainable voice
This was a good choice for a first Iron Maiden reaction. Especially this live version from *1982*

In my opinion this Hammersmith performance is the best recorded version of Hallowed hands down, no questions asked.
This was the first time for the audience hearing this song. Dive in bro. No disappointment. Legends. 🤟
I was a 90's Grunge kid who graduated into Mathcore, I did not get the whole Maiden thing until about 02/03, when my friend put on a live Maiden show on the stereo at work, and it blew me away, I got it big time, wish I had got it sooner
Do Ryme if the Ancient Mariner next
Up the irons! 🎶🎶🎸🎸🎵
This was the first time the audience heard this. This was videod b4 the album came out in 1982. The lead singer flies thier private 747. Their next album is my favorite, this album my next favorite. To this day they sell out areas.
First heard Iron Maiden on their 2nd album, Killers, been a massive fan since, one of the most consistent bands in heavy metal and they're still releasing new albums and touring, vocalist Bruce Dickinson is on his solo band tour at the moment then Maiden returns on tour in the Fall, they just keep going. ~ Up The Irons!
Been touring since 1975 and still going
You should see the atmosphere for the same song live in Rio in front of 250,000 people singing along!
It sounds and feels like riding a galloping horse into battle to me...☮️💜🤘🔥
I lived on the isle of dogs,, about 10 mins from Bruce's house 🤟🏴
Great respectful reaction to an amazing band who is still touring! Saw them in their prime & various times with my adult son! Up the Irons, you can not go wrong with their songs, they will not disappoint!
Check out Iron Maiden - The Trooper - Live in Anaheim 2022 so you can see their zombie mascot Eddie who is 10ft tall.
Studio versions of Aces High and The Trooper for me, laddie! Great reaction. Because you LISTENED to the song, you WATCHED the performance, and you took the time to explain to us why you liked it. A lot of so-called reaction veterans don’t come off honest and heartfelt like you. Good stuff. Liked, Subscribed, coming back for more. Mai-den! Mai-den! Up the Irons! Signed, 50-year-old Hillbilly Iron Maiden fan since 1984. Peace.
That part in the reaction where you go "hunhhh". That's so rock and roll!
"Fear of the Dark" live is a must
The drummer is insane , he can make the sound last really long after he hits the drums, just like the throbbing pain a burn would leave after the first pain when you get burned
Run to the hills❤❤❤
Run to the hills is a banger too ❤ Bruce's voice is just incredible .This was my Metallica until Metallica. My Mom used to tell me it was Devil music because she heard The Lp title Number of the beast. I showed her the lyrics and she was OK with it after that 😂 Peace out ✌️ ☮️
not a drum machine nor autotune in sight. real music, great reaction cheers.
The year of that live was 1982. The band is still active to this day, though with a different drummer: the one in this show, Clive Burr, left the band right after due to health issues and passed away some time ago, Nicko McBrain has been their historical drummer for 40-ish years. They also have three guitarists now. My favorite Maiden song is 22 Acacia Avenue, althogh there aren't any memorable live shows of that one. Best live shows in my opinion are: - This one - This very same song (Hallowed be Thy name) from EN VIVO! - The Trooper from EN VIVO! - Dance of Death from EN VIVO! - Rime of the Ancient Mariner from Flight 666 - Powerslave from Flight 666 My favorite studio songs: - 22 Acacia Avenue - Children of the Damned - The Prisoner - To Tame a Land (2015 remaster) Also i HIGHLY suggest watching the animated video from "The Writing on the Wall" which is the signature track of their last album And if you wanna check how they're performing today, there's the 2024 live version of the song "Stranger in a strange land"
I think you would enjoy to other songs from Iron Maiden and they are, the Trooper and run to the Hills. I think you might enjoy them. Another band to look out for is called The Who and they sing a song called, Baba O’Riley. That one is brilliant. Take it easy and look after yourself. Cheers for a great video again.

They are very unique and versatile with many great songs, a lot of REALLY UNDERRATED songs that are as good as if not better than popular great “hits”
Iron maiden are the best straight metal band ever story tellers. excellent musicians and a great singer . kzread.info/dash/bejne/l3eVx86Sd9uues4.html Prisoner // Rime of the Ancient Mariner kzread.info/dash/bejne/a2ts1aNqiMvTl9I.html // Children Of The Damned kzread.info/dash/bejne/gKSDxLafhqynqLA.html // Alexander The Great kzread.info/dash/bejne/X52F0pexgK2wk6Q.html // Phantom Of The Opera 🎸 kzread.info/dash/bejne/nYh13KRwc9q1Xag.html // Powerslave kzread.info/dash/bejne/oGacucmRj5bKmNI.html and many more gems you have to do Infinite Dreams ❤❤
You mention being all about the flow change. If you choose to drop down the Maiden rabbit hole, you'll encounter lots of this spanning a very deep catalog of songs. If you choose to investigate further that that, you'll find that much of their influence and inspiration comes from the progressive and classic rock sound of the 70s -- early Genesis, Jethro Tull, Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy, Yes, many more. In turn, Maiden then became one of the biggest influences of the past 40 years for bands spanning a bunch of genres. You've checked into a special band here.
Now listen to The Trooper, Run To The Hills & 2 Minutes To Midnight. Now you have & you’re most certainly a fan. You get to go and listen to their first 7 albums for the first time, that would so amazing to experience for a first time again. Best classic album run ever imo.
Lead singer Bruce is from my hometown in the Uk 😊
Bruce Dickinson - one of the great voices in Rock. A couple of other great voices: Queensryche - Take Hold of the Flame live in Tokyo, and Journey - Faithfully, Don't Stop Believing (live in Houston). Enjoy the ride, bro.
As a former artist, I feel my work disrespected by social validation, because that is what´s all about. If you want to see live performance on a screen you buy the dvd or the on-line stream. Iron Maiden is a family. When you watch the Irons live you should hold that feeling by focusing your orbits on the show around. It is that what you must hold. Not your cellular phones. Up the Irons!

Well I regret not having any picture from the concert I attended in Sao Paulo/1998.
Long Live Eddie - "Number of the Beast" was the song that brought Iron Maiden into my life circa High School cruising in my friends V8 Duster
Great reaction! You should do "Fear of the dark" En Vivo next! 😊
Be not By and Hallowed not Hollowed Check out "Caught Somewhere In Time" on the "Somewhere In Time" album, by Iron Maiden.
Tickets back then cost less then 20 bucks for any tickets.
Mate that grown at the interlude switch said it all.
the clansman is about an english invasion in the 1200s of scotland and sir william wallace's fight for freedom.

Up The Irons 🤘
You want a No Phone event?… check out Queen live aid… now that’s something i wish I’d been at!!!
1982
For an 56 years old Metalhead like me with still long hair is that normal Music , ok , my start as a Metalhead was 1980 with 13 years , check up this Song 30 or 40 years later , all Member of Maiden 2024 are order than 65 years
What you're feeling is the bassist, Steve Harris
Yeah, phone at the concert takes the focus off the band, the experience of being there seeing it live is what should matter.
🤘😎👍 next one from Iron Maiden - Alexander the Great ( with lyric ) = good history lesson . Masterpiece . 👍🎶🎶
try the clansman rock in rio 2001. his hair is short for his career as a passenger jet pilot when not singing. 3 guitarists trading solos. the red and the black live chapter is his first tour after being cured of throat cancer.
Trooper or fear of the dark live
Bro can you please react to “ Run to the hills “?
What is it with MANY people...calling this song Hollowed...its Hallowed ...by... its BE...thy name? 2 out 4 words are said wrong. Im not a word or pronunciation nazi....im just an aggravated fan of the song....Hallowed be thy name. Never heard Hollowed by the name. But would love to see a reactor react to it. What band is it from? Iran Meeting.?
Hallowed BE thy name , give me a reason to stay subscribed or dont. Iron maiden aint my band but no denying they did just enough drugs to put this masterpiece together.
At least it doesn't insult women like your rap does....subhuman so called culture.
Oh ffs, enough already!
Live Iron Maiden Paschendale, please, up the irons.
