Yes, even though it wasn't easy for him to express himself in English (comparing to his previous speech on that matter in Russian) - it was still so important to him to say that, he was really emotional too...

Dimash is the only person I know who walked on the red carpet with his grannies! It was so heartwarming

The only artist I’ve ever seen who proudly escorts his grandmothers on the red carpet!! He always acknowledges their love and support including at his concerts. Mama (the grandmother who went up to receive the award from him) is the one who raised him as is the Kazakh tradition. They are very close. I would have liked to see him in Prague as well but could only choose one concert. So for me it will be Düsseldorf on April 9th. You start to feel the nerves now. A lot of Dears from Sweden, Norway and Denmark. It's going to be amazing. 🤩

Well said..he lives to sing ..he doesn't sing for any other reason..he has to sing. It's funny watching him at other times..eg. having makeup put on, waiting at an airport, sitting backstage...waiting for a coffee. Music is running through him...he taps and jigs, hums and sways to it😂he is music personified❤❤ He does seem to have a bit of a problem with losing his socks 🤣🤣

Dimash took his grandmothers to the Dubai expo. He always walked arm in arm with them. There are times when he seeks out his grandmother's hand and holds it together like that with overwhelming care and affection. The care and tenderness he shows is surprising, especially for a Western culture where some of the moral values are lost.

I read a good while back that he was raised by his grandparents. Apparently it's a custom in Kazakhstan. Not sure to what age they raised him, but it was his grandmother that made sure he went to music school as a youngster.

Бабушка была учительницей, ради Димаша ушла с работы . До 11 лет спал с бабушкой и дедушкой между ними. С малых лет онм бабушка и дедушка взяли к себе когда надо было кормить бабушка носила его до матери после кормление забирали к себе обратно..По этому Дедушку называл - Папа. Бабушку называл - Мама. Отца Қаната - Братом. Мать Свету - Тётей.

Dimash is showing the world what a "well-bred" person should be like as he repeats in his interviews. An example, above all, for vain, poorly educated, rude artists and to whom many people pay tribute without even deserving it. Dimash is the fresh air that humanity needs to find in music a haven of peace, joy, happiness and hope.

I absolutely agree with you about how he fully expresses his emotions in his singing. I don't remember who said it, but someone close to him said that he doesn't sing the way he does to show off but to let out his emotions, and that it his only way to release them. I think that if he wasn't able to sing he would either explode or implode. Either way his health might suffer. He has a way to get them out of his body in his singing, and we get the benefit of it. It's a win win. Perhaps in later life he will have to find another way, but for now this is what he does, and he does it so beautifully. I think that is why people connect to him in the way that they do. He activates their emotions with his truth. It's magic.

First, you'd look fabulous in a white suit. One word - Tidestick. Second - how great a guy is Dimash? Doesn't take all the adulation and become a jackass like some we've seen lately. What a wonderful human being. We learn from him.

I really like this version of SOS. The Digital one was great & very dramatic but a bit too stripped back vocally for my taste. Here the voice comes back into it's own. So beautifully. LOVE a centred self respecting Grandma - who doesn't spend time money effort in fighting / masking external signs of natural aging. As someone somewhere once said " I'm proud of every wrinkle - I've earned them!" As for digital adjustments to one's features. ... really had to restrain myself from dashing down to the feed bin in the coop for you when your face flipped to closely resembling one of my Chickens! 🤣😆🐔

Dimash is like a litmus test, as an indicator of everything that happens in the world. Everything is taken to heart. But what a beautiful indicator!

Quite the opposite. Have you seen the latest stats? Many people from 72 countries around the world attended his concert in Dubai. This is record breaking for him! No need to despair. Keep in mind, Dimash has never been a mainstream artist because he is an elite artist foronly people who have the capacity to appreciate true art. I’m extremely proud of him!

We Dears must continue to promote the musical genius Dimash. I've been doing my part, with friends, at school and even at the doctor's office. I would like more and more people to embrace quality music and not those singers who dance more than they sing. We are all very proud of Dimash. We love this Kazakh with all our energies.

@@mariapereira9703 Keep in mind there were a lot of Chinese, Russian and Ukrainian sears that were not able to travel because of travel restrictions and quarantine in China. Otherwise the concert would have sold out under normal circumstances. And I agree more people need to embrace high art. Thank you for your efforts!
