Definitely the best thing out of this patch. It’s not overpowered, but made the mon more reliable on cooldowns than button tapping. I wish they did give a little bit of love to dragon tail though, since stealth rock just is too good for the builds to drop now.

@@Oliver-uz1fs Dragon Pulse has better burst rn, you just have to use stealth rock offensively to get the ticks up rather than auto attack. Running stuff like attack weight might do you better

@@elijahpark5344 Agreed. Pulse has great secure still, but isn't oppressive during Ray rip. Flash Cannon on the otherhand rips faster but has bad secure.

I think for a Dragon Tail buff, decrease the Cooldown of DT when Basic Attacking during Flash Cannon. Idk what to do with DT with Dragon Pulse other than just decrease the CD or CD reduce with every boosted Basic Attack.

Honestly this move use kinda reminds me of sandstorm with ttar, both big team fighting circles, I imagine a duo of them could be nasty

Stealth Rock is offering stuns to catch people, Dragon Tail is unlocking higher DPS + safety. It's a very fun dynamic between the two

Im really happy about this balance patch. There are few things that make no sense (even they did for sell the hollowers... realistically). This seems a W patch.

It's Actually Small, it's literal a Glass canon and a sitting duck, so many attackers out range him, so you have to be Smart when to put yourself in Canon mode. It's like playing chess

nope dural range is still the same. they only buff the attack speed on flash cannon to 100% but in return they nerf his normal attack speed.

You gotta realize Dura is super squishy so he will lose 1v1s if they get in

@@shanerpressley all attacker are squishy thats why you need to position on the right spot and always stay near a support or defender. and unlike other attaker dural depend more on his skill since both fist skill have low CD + setting your steath rock can root enemy much faster.

As a duralodon player, I can say that he will benefit more from razor claw, because each time he cast stealth rock it will give him boosted attack and it triggers the razor claw's passive, on the other hand his base attack speed is lowered so he will only benefit a little from the scarf

They’re talking about when TiMi randomly nerfed dragon tail and dragon pulse a few patches ago. Back then, duraludon wasn’t even meta, so it didn’t make sense to nerf him.

yup it got buff well they just bring back the old effect. that steath rock giving shield and rooting enemy much faster.

@@Ajgamer6930 they didnt buffs steath rock damage but the rooting time take less and the shield is so small it can easly break in just 1 hit. but yeah if your in a duo flash cannon and a full stock of steath rock is annoiying since it will stun lock your opponent. like what you say it will lock mobility.

But i still hate that soap dispenser

yup, but they buffs flash cannon attack speed to 100% and they also nerf the damage by max hp to 3% to 1.5% both on normal attack and flash cannon damage.

Just like with Ttar stone edge, Gyara Aquatail/Waterfall and other moves that got buffed in that way, I keep being surprised how it was even remotely hard for the devs to figure that out, or what took them so long to come up with it and implement it. Obviously a slow and clunky move is going to feel pretty awkward in a game that is meant to be 10 minutes of fast paced action! So when will Ground Garchomp get that same fix? Or Life Leech Buzzwole? No? Gonna need a bit more time to figure out the problem with those moves even though it's the same deal?

I love leech life Buzzwole but it's objectively bad. If my teammate displaces the enemy you're sucking you just stand there doing nothing.

I've always played and loved Flash Cannon. With good positioning and Dragon Tail, you cluld make it work in so Q. But Stealth Rock really good work so well with it now. The stun is so quick now. And late game, you have 4 stuns you can use in quick succession.
